A MUST BUY IF YOU FLETCH, OR WANT TO FLETCH, YOUR OWN ARROWS!!!
As much as my household and I buys on Amazon, I rarely leave a review because most products aren't THAT impactful or do something that makes an experience standout, BUT THIS FLETCHING JIG IS OUTSTANDING!! It's easy to use. It makes perfect right helical feathers. And allows you to quickly make a half dozen arrows in less than an hour. I first bought the Bitzenburger, which is a classic jig that everyone in archery should try, or own. Yet after using the EZ Pro, the only way I'd use the Bitzenburger again is if I break my EZ Pro and can't wait for a new one to arrive. I can prep 3 feathers, apply some Gorilla Glue (blue tip fast dry is a CA glue), clamp the jig for 5 minutes and have an arrow with 5in feathers done in 10 minutes total. No more doing one feather at a time in the same 10 minutes. If you have feathers or vanes 2 1/4 inches or smaller, then you need the EZ Mini. This larger Pro version is for 3, 4, and 5 inch feathers or vanes. I highly recommend anyone looking at this jig to pull the trigger and buy one! Excellent value for the money, the time it will save you, and the accuracy of the fletchings!

works well
Pros:QuickEasyHolds feathers in the right place for the most partCons:Can be tricky at firstEasy to over glue feathersTakes a few tries to get really goodThis thing is really easy in theory. All you do is add glue to your feathers and close the device. But one thing that you need to careful for is that it is really easy to over glue. When this happens the glue will leak down and get into the bending mechanism and freeze up the device. When this happens the arrows will not set right and then you have to try and remove that glue to free up the moving parts so everything works. But after you get this down and the right amounts of glue you are good to go. This will make acceptable arrows, but not the greatest. I would recommend this for the hobbyist and for practice arrows but not for a pro or a seasoned hunter.

It's perfect, easy to use.
Fits standard 5/16" carbon and larger. No adjustments for anything. Just put the arrow in, glue the fletchings and close. 30 seconds later it's done. Great for replacing one vane.

Works great on longer vanes. Blazer vanes not so much....
If you fletch smaller vanes like blazers you must glue in two steps and manually adjust them for proper helix. Apply a small bead of glue to the rear ends and allow to fully cure, then gently pull them up and apply glue to the remainder of the vane and helix them as you like while seating them manually....takes more time but works. Overall works great on longer vanes in one step.

Good helix, glue resistant, easy to use.
I love this thing. Fletches an arrow all 3 times. Medium-weight sturdy plastic that's doesn't stick to glue. Evenly spaced. Great right-helix pattern, aligns with nock. When adding the feathers it can tip over so be careful or brace it down. Portable and easy to carry around.

Does not function properly
I have the small version of this jig for fletching 1.75”-2” vanes…it works flawlessly besides being kinda messy with glue…This particular jig is for the larger vanes, right helical fletch. It WILL NOT clamp tight enough to stick the vane to the arrow shaft. Every single one I did was a failure. This jig caused me lots of frustration after having to clean wasted glue off of my brand new arrow shafts. I would not recommend this particular jig.

these always work
these always work - keep in mind to put either silicone lube or synthetic string lube on the fletch arms. if you don't, you'll get a build up of glue that will eventually render the tool useless.
