if you're frustrated by brittle, charred solder joints, or unable to solder to a PCB pad, flux makes all the difference in the world. Keep your iron clean and sharp, your connections stronger and more reliable. And here you get a lot, for not much money. Very happy.

This product, as good as it is, is NOT Solder Paste. It is, as one reviewer stated, Solder Flux. Nothing more. Solder paste contains both solder and flux. Not just flux! Good product, and I'm sure I will put it to use, but I can only give one star for misleading label. Intentional or not, this should be corrected ASAP.

I made the mistake of using this on electronic circuit boards and found that the residue causes shorts. This is however a great flux for attaching larger pieces of metal together such as pipes or for soldering big wires or buses that do not have any nearby active circuitry that you can thoroughly clean in water and you want to ensure a strong bond. The improvement in solderability is quite noticeable, It is a little hard to just apply a small amount of the flux though or precicely apply it without spilling to other areas. it tends to goop and form "peaks" that fall over onto adjacent parts, so it should be used for large welds or brazing that you can clean afterwords.

I do a lot of my own maintenance on cars and motorcycles and have never been particularly good at soldering. I read online somewhere that solder flux or paste makes a big difference, and I ordered this one just because it had positive reviews on here. It makes a world of difference, and has made soldering a joy be it stereo wires or throttle cables. I can't compare it to other similar products as this is the only one I've ever used but it works very well.

I really had a hard time giving this 3 stars because it didn't work for me at all. The only reason that I am giving it 3 stars is because i'm no professional solder and there is a slight possibility that I did not use this correctly or simply misunderstood what it was supposed to do. I have however soldered before so I do know how to solder. I did later solder my material using regular solder wire and it worked fine.

Always makes a very nice and clean connection. I tried it with out using the flux and its very rough to do, but with the flux everything flows nicely.

This tub was cheaper than the two ounce tin can. I refilled my can and still had more than half left. The flux works very well. I have used it for 40 years.
