Everyday Carry, Daily Use - Work and Gym Bag - Unbiased Review - A Young Professional in the USA
Great bag and I use it daily. Yes, it's like 60 bucks but you get what you pay for right? Plus, you can always return it...but you probably won't. The small-ish size really makes you keep things simple and prioritize what you need. I'm a minimalist everyday carry techie geek and I love this bag. Only bad thing is there is no dedicated pen slot(s) but the inside compartment is reasonably deep and I carry a couple pens in there no problem. I believe this bag is waterproof but it doesn't say so specifically on Amazon. I've carried it in the rain with my precious electronics and I've never had an issue. There is a flat that goes on top of the zippered areas that is seemingly designed to repel water. I find it a little odd they don't use that as a selling point because it's such a good idea honestly. I would use this bag when traveling for a couple days no problem.I am a 25 year old male young professional in the IT and HR industry in case you were wondering about my profile. To give you some baseline, I usually carry the following in my bag every single day:Laptop (Mac or Windows alternatively)iPhone 6WalletA few pensGym ShortsExtra Exofficio boxersGym ShirtSocksTSA LockRaybansNotebookKindleFlashlightKnifeLighterHandkerchiefA few protein bars or a bag of AlmondsUsually a polyester shirt in case of cold weatherHeadphonesWater bottle or energy drink....or both! LOL (on the side compartment)LighterChapstickTylenol / MedicineCarabinerParacordMy lunch (in a small zip-lock container)Worried your Windows computer won't fit because it's designed for a Mac? Hakuna Matata my friend because I use a rather large and bulky 7+ year old Windows laptop my work gave me, and it fits fine. Yes, the bag is designed for a Mac but after you put in another brand or a slightly larger laptop the cushioned area kind of expands and keeps it snug. I alternate between my bulky Windows laptop and on weekends switch it out for my Mac. I have a late 2011 Mac Pro regular size and it fits well. It's gotten less snug as a result of me kind of forcing in my Windows laptop but I still feel confident my Mac is protected when it's inside. Please be aware, the 'crush proof' section is not crush proof. It's more like 'impact resistant' in my opinion. That said, I put my Raybans in there every single day, and sometimes some pens too, and it's never failed me. If it does, you betcha I will come back and edit this review because I will not have any customers buy something I endorsed if it fails me in the future. I'm a very picky guy and am not afraid to return things to Amazon if it's not up to par, or the picture doesn't match but I would recommend you give this backpack a try. I get compliments from girls on it occasionally as well. I usually slight it over my right shoulder and don't use both straps and it's a comfortable bag to carry. This is a quality backpack and very well made...I would recommend buying it right now if: you like everyday carry blogs, you are a minimalist, you are a young professional and/or you carry a laptop and go to the gym before or after work. Please rate my review as helpful, if you found it useful. I'm always so darn curious if anyone reads my reviews and if I should keep doing it.Have a nice day :)

excellent backpack for daily commute to and from work
I use this backpack daily to transport my 13 in. laptop and ipad to and from multiple office locations. I have gone through several laptop backpacks, but most end up being too big and heavy for daily use from home to the office and/or other meetings. I think that the larger size of previous backpacks that i have owned allowed me to throw any and all accessories and cords that i had into it just because they all fit. I would feel my shoulders start getting tired after walking 5-6 blocks. This bag is noticeably smaller than most laptop backpacks I have seen, and it required me to initially go through all my belongings and leave some stuff behind that I normally would have carried. I'm glad that I did! I didn't miss any of it; I found that most of the other stuff that I was carrying around was not being used at all anyway. I now rarely carry anything else in my bag besides my laptop, tablet, and maybe a handful of papers or a small notebook infrequently. This bag It comfortably fits both devices, all the necessary power cords leaves room for other accessories should you need to carry them. much more than a small notebook, however, and it starts getting tight and annoying to try to get things in and out of the bag. it is super light and secure with ample padding to protect both laptop and tablet. In summary, this is a great backpack for daily commuting, but if you are looking for something good for an overnight trip or require a lot of storage space, it may not be for you.

Too small for a 15" Macbook Pro
This daypack is way smaller than you might think and just barely holds my 15" Macbook Pro. It's a _really_ tight fit and you have to fold the top/back lip of case completely under to even get the laptop to slide in it's designated slot. Folding the lip of the case back up so you can zip it shut is also semi difficult and you always have to take care that the zipper teeth don't scrape back and forth on the top of your expensive laptop. On the plus side, the case is well made and decently padded, but it shouldn't be advertised as suitable for a 15" laptop...

Love this bag pack, honestly this brand is my new fav...
I liked Case Logic before but recently was buying without focus on brands and I wanted to come back to quality and this is it. I like its not too complicated like some, simple design with few extra futures... But you can feel the quality really its so obvious when you just take it and its small but exactly size I like. Looks as on picture... I am big guy 1.90 so most think I need big one haha I love this one don't want any bigger, its enough for laptop with few other things and water bottle.. So light weight and durable at the same time.

well built but poorly designed.
It's very compact and the design is such that you can't even use the available space since it's front compartment occupies space inside the main compartment. Serious constraint of usable space. This bag is a design fault.

Great bag that can open a beer bottle in a pinch!
This is an excellent product. I LOVE Thule. I'm a bag freak and buy all kinds of bags for cameras and computers and accessories. I needed something that fit my 15 inch work Mac and iPad as well as a few accessories like an ergonomic mouse and various wires and cables etc. It does that beautifully and it has two side pockets for various things like a water bottle. Plus it has a hard cover area for things like glasses and another zippered pocket in front for other things. The padding and straps are awesome, zippers are sturdy and high quality. It also looks really small on. Oh, and there's a little bottle opener at the top which was a surprise I didn't know about! That little silver clip just visible in the picture is an opener. A backpack that can open a beer bottle? I don't know if that was intended but I love those Swedes! You can spend a lot more and get a lot less bag.

Che dire... invito all'acquisto!

Great so far. I'm loving it.
This bag is smaller than the previous Incase Icon bag that I had. At only 19L, it provides just enough room for me to fit a few pieces of paper to take notes from school, my lunch, laptop, laptop accessories and umbrella so there are no complaints there although it would be nice if Thule would make a 25L version of this bag.I really like the design, it was a mix of the color and its design that caught my attention and it did not disappoint. The zippers are high quality YKK Japanese zippers so I trust that it will hold up for long term use. The materials are soft to touch, light weight and feels very solidly built. I like the neon flaps that hang out of the zippers so I can locate the zippers and unzip my bag easily.Previously I would use the Incase Icon bumper sleeve to carry my Macbook Pro 2016 in. However, having seen and felt the padding inside this bag, the case is now rendered obsolete. With the sleeve, the bumper barely fits so I opted to remove the redundant protection in favour for less bulk. The added sternum strap is a nice touch this well built bag. It adds stability and reduces the load from your shoulders by spreading it out evenly throughout your body. The straps and the back padding is plenty. The padding provided is the first of its kind I've experienced in any bag I've purchased and makes this bag my new standard for how all bags should be like.Time will tell if this bag will hold up as much as it is hyped up to be. I will update this review should anything change in the future, however, I am very satisfied with my purchase thus far.
