I just finished a 100' walkway and a 10'x10' pad for a hot-tub with this compactor. It starts right up, runs smoothly and did the job well. It might not be suited for large jobs, but it worked well for my application. At 175lbs, I can also maneuver it around easily by myself. The wheels work well enough that I was able to wheel it across a few hundred feet of lawn without getting stuck. The last compactor that I rented had no wheels, so this is a much appreciated feature.I also noticed that this is a rebranded version of the compactor that had been selling in Europe and the UK for a while. That version had a lot of good online reviews and videos and I concur with those reviews.

The compactor is well built. It started immediately, runs well, and does a great job compacting. Although it's a relatively lightweight machine, the smaller plate size concentrates the force well. The maneuverability is a big plus in tight areas and it's much, much easier to move between than larger compactors. It is ideal for paver walkways and fine for larger areas as long as you don't mind the small footprint. At full throttle it moves at a good speed and gets the job done quickly. The only assembly required is attaching the handle, wheels, and throttle, which takes just a few minutes if you first review the seller's video on the Amazon website. The written assembly instructions are not very informative.

It arrived timely and all the parts were well boxed. The owners manual is outstanding, definitely one of the best that I’ve come across. The assembly is straight forward and the transport wheel kit is well designed. The engine started on the very first pull and idled perfectly. The best part about this machine is that it works pretty darn well. It’s the perfect size, not too big and bulky to work with, yet large enough to get the job done. You will be happy with this unit.

I absolutely do not recommend this compactor. I finally got a change to use it and it refused to turn on with gas inside. I had to go rent one from Home Depot to get the job done and is truly disappointed.

This is a very well built, and great priced piece of equipment. We purchased this plate compactor because we had several projects underway where IWe could use it. Renting a compactor was expensive, almost a hundred dollars a day. Assembly took about 40 minutes, including the handles and wheels, added oil to the engine, added fuel, and it fired up nicely.So far, no issues. I’m glad I have this one. I’d recommend this for the do it yourself work.

Never owned one before but I had 14 tons of gravel laid down and after a good soak this thing pounded my driveway in the submission. Pretty easy to set up and maintenance instructions are pretty thorough. Figured if I used it 5 times or so it will be cheaper than renting one every time I need it.

This machine was shipped and delivered a day early so kudos to the seller! Now an honest review of this machine, price point pretty decent compares to others with almost the same rated engine power. Now the most important thing to note is that before you attempt to start the engine, it must be filled with oil or else it won’t fire due to the oil level sensor in case anyone is having technical difficulties. But this thing will start up on 1 feathered of a pull which surprisedly shocking.
