Solid Build, No Sag, Very Tight, Awesome Cinema Image - Great Customer Service!
Bought this SLR Magic lens to run with on my SLR Magic Anamorphot 1.33x40 anamorphic adapter, and it fits like a glove - very tight onto the adapter with its 52mm front threads. It clicked and fit easily on my Panasonic GH4, but wouldn't click into place with ease on my Blackmagic Cinema Camera 2.5k MFT mount, or BMPCC with an MFT mount... I got immediate contact from SLR Magic's support team, and Andrew actually took the time to speak with me directly by phone. He was helpful, courteous and even requested a video of my challenge. Turns out, the Blackmagic mounts are just extra tight, and SLR Magic (who is part of the Four Thirds Consortium) make their lenses to specs -- very tight and solid... he asked that I try and give it an extra tight turn on the mount of the BMCC mount. To my surprise, it clicked and locked perfectly into place -- and works like a charm.Extreme lowlight performance at 0.95, the lens also has a gorgeous front glass -- coated --- and creates absolutely stunning cinematic images, with character. The lens itself is ALL metal, solidly built, and does not sag like my other value priced lenses in the 0.95 range. This lens is purely professional and the service I received from SLR magic keeps me as a customer long-term. No other company goes out of their way like that to contact you on the fly, by phone, when it's 5pm on a Saturday where they're at.Very impressed, and will continue to use SLR magic products.

Great build quality with full frame aesthetics
I've owned this lens for the past 6 months and have loved what I've found. The lens is far from perfect, but for video work the "feel" is much nicer than the focus by wire lenses you get with Panasonic. I've used mine on the G85 and GH5, both of which allow for utilization of IBIS which make this lens a dream, especially indoors or in low light situations. This lens is heavy for it's size, but that speaks to build quality and glass inside. The quality is as good as older Minolta MD or Olympus OM glass, and much better than typical third-party manual lenses like Rokinon. The aperture blades are click-less which is again is nice for video work. Depth of field is on par with full frame 50mm 1.8 equivalents, giving you nice aesthetically pleasing round bokeh balls. The only draw back to the lens it the glare and sometimes ghosting, which can be an issue even from light sources at night (hence the 4/5 stars). But change your shooting angle and this can be easily compensated for. As a whole, this lens is a savior in difficult, low-light situations or when trying to get that extra creative feel in your work. I would highly recommend it.

Creamy bokeh, good build, sharp at mid apertures
Used this lens with a Panasonic GH5 on a documentary film in a dimly lit forest, primarily to shoot at 60 and 180 fps to get slow motion. This lens produces stunning out of focus backgrounds. At T/.95 the entire frame is soft with only a slice of DOF in focus. If you're going for a creamy look, great, otherwise I would stop it down to around 1.4 to achieve acceptable sharpness. It's extremely heavy for its size, and well built. Obviously there are no aperture clicks or AF. It added a distinctly fine art look to my film.

This 25mm MFT prime feels and performs like german lenses twice the price
This 25mm MFT prime feels and performs like german lenses twice the price. All metal body and sharp optics to the edges. Rich bokeh with its 12 bladed iris and clickless iris ring.It does take practice to peak the focus wide open due to the shallow DOF but that applies to any lens.
