Grandma Problems
For the last year or so my Grandma has casually complained that she often misses visiting neighbors or package deliveries because she can not hear her doorbell from her back sunporch, where she likes to sit. We suggested moving the receiver, but she didn't want to do that because then she wouldn't be able to hear it in other rooms of the house, such as her bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and/or livingroom. Well when the batteries started to give, and she brought up the problem another time, I figured there had to be a better solution then just replacing them and continuing on with a doorbell she could only hear in certain areas of the house, assuming she was watching TV (which she so often does). So I got online, this product popped up as an amazon favorite with great reviews, and I ordered it.She loves it. She can now hear it ring throughout the house, and the wireless connection is strong enough that even with the lightest push of the button both receivers chime, and in sync with each other. I had worried that with one receiver being an additional 30-40 feet from the remote bell then the other receiver, that they would chime out of sync, and create an awful havoc of a sound if you were in, say, the kitchen, where you can hear both the one from the sun porch and one nearest the front door. So it was nice knowing that was not going to be an issue.Another plus, that she liked, is that these receivers are much smaller, and on plugs. Her previous wireless receiver was very bulky, and on battery power, and she gets a lot of door traffic. At least once a year the two, giant, D-sized, batteries needed to be replaced in order for the receiver to pick up the more distant connection. This is no longer a problem, and she now has both receivers plugged into outlets that are out of sight, as she no longer needs to get behind the furniture every time she needs to change the batteries. She also seems to like the remote button more as well, it's modern, simple, and eye catching; she even remarked this week that her food delivery service, that she has never heard ring the bell before when dropping off her frozen packages, rang it this time.Overall this was a very inexpensive gift that solved a daily inconvenience in an old ladies life, she couldn't of been happier that someone finally took five seconds to solve it for her; I only feel bad it took me so long to think about it.

A Wonderful Doorbell for a DIng Dong...me!
I was very hesitant on investing more money on a 'doorbell' as I had tremendous bad luck with two doorbell systems at Lowes with a different manufacturer. While searching Amazon.com for their inventory of doorbells, I really was drawn to this one. First, it was easy to install. And second, it really appeared to be a reliable doorbell system as it was dependent on a battery (the transmitter/actual doorbell), and electricity for the (receivers/sounders).I installed it all by myself, and I'm very challenged with 'handyman' skills. So, it's very, very easy to install. But what I like most of all, it works! And it works fabulously! It doesn't short out like the other brands at Lowes as those other brands were dependent on a 'signal to a signal' in order to produce a sound. Many neighbors, family, friends, and customers are very happy that I have installed the new Sado Tech Model CXR Wireless Doorbell because it WORKS. I know when someone is at the door and I do not miss their visit. And it's plenty loud. I have one receiver at one end of the house and another at the other end of the house...I do not miss a visitor at all! This doorbell has many wonderful doorbell sounds. You pick the sound of your choice, but if you have an electrical trip/serge the doorbell automatically resets itself to the 'Ding Dong' sound. That is still so wonderful because you'll still know when someone is at the door. When you have time you can reset the sound of your choice.I wish there were more 'styles' to choose from as I have a beautiful country home and the doorbell system is modern looking. But I'm truly happy that it is a very reliable doorbell system that is very easy to install and maintain...very easy!

I now have 5 buttons and 5 receivers working perfectly
We bought the first package of 2 buttons and 2 bells three and a half years ago, shortly after added a another 2 buttons and a bell, then just recently added another button and two more bells. We now have buttons on 3 exterior doors, a button that my Mom keeps with her in case she needs help and a button by the bed in case my partner needs help. We have two bells in each house (adjacent) and a bell for the separate garage. Each button has a unique tone sequence that we programmed all the bells to. While it was a little bit of a hassle cycling through all the tones on each bell to get them set for each of the buttons, the process was actually fairly simple to complete and the bells and buttons have worked perfectly. The only issue I ran into was when one of the buttons was mounted directly to the metal siding by an exterior door, it did not signal all the bells. I moved the button off the metal siding, and now it works. The setup manual actually says that mounting the bell directly on metal siding may interfere with the signal, but I had ignored that initially. Turns out the manual was right. We are using only the bells that plug directly into outlets, not the battery operated bells. The buttons all have a battery, but in the 3 and half years we have had these, we have never had to replace a battery.
