Fortnum and Mason Black Tea with Peach 15 Silky Tea Bags 30g (1 Pack)

I love this tea. It was true to its name.

I did not realize the tea bags are plastic. I’m hesitant to brew them with hot water now bc I do not want to ingest microplastics and get cancer. The tea is also not as fragrant/rich as the same ones I bought years ago. The taste is barely there. The quality has really tanked and that’s very disappointing bc this is quite an expensive tea. These used to have natural fiber bags and the peach scent was wonderfully fragrant and the tea was rich and delicious. I might still try the loose leaf version, but I will most likely toss the rest of this box. Incredibly disappointed.

Peach flavour really comes through but the tea bags are really only meant to be steeped once.I tend to like to do two steeps for one tea bag, but for this one there will be no flavour remaining on second steep.Price can seem expensive but it's about double the price of the tea itself / includes the shipping cost of having it imported from England.Shipping to USA from the Fortnum site was $40 for shipping last time I checked... if you're only buying one tea then it's cheaper / easier to buy from amazon, but if you are planning on buying multiple teas then it might be better to order from the fortnum site and pay the shipping over there.
