FIFO bottles aren't for everything, but they are good for 1) stuff where you want to use the oldest substance first even when filling a bottle that isn't completely empty and 2) when using thick viscous substances that won't easily run to the top of a bottle and you want to avoid waste. The main problems are that either 1) the liquid might be too thin and tend to leak out the bottom or 2) it might be too thick and be too difficult to squeeze out (since the seal has to be pretty tight to not leak). These bottles seem pretty well constructed. Tried them with both shampoo and conditioner. Dispensing shampoo was OK but the conditioner was too difficult. Also you have to squeeze pretty hard to get the seal to open which makes it easy to squirt too much of the stuff out. This was more of a problem with the conditioner than the shampoo. I haven't put it to the test but I suspect that these issues are probably reduced in smaller bottles where the seals don't need to hold back as much weight. So using smaller fifo bottles when possible is probably a good idea.

If you have homemade sauces and condiments, or open cans of condensed milk, this squeeze bottle is handy to keep in the fridge. It opens at the top with a screw cap for easy funneling or pouring in your contents. The bottom has a self-closing valve and a set of nubs to stand the bottle up on a table or in the refrigerator shelf without touching the nozzle. The bottle is translucent, so you can sort of see what's inside and how much, but labeling it is probably the best plan. I was a bit confused at first by this bottle because I'd never used (or THOUGHT I hadn't used) this type of dispenser. You simply squeeze the bottle and the contents drizzle out from the nozzle on the bottom through the silicone valve. If you look at ketchup bottles or mustard, a lot of them have this type of valve in the lid (you can see the silicone membrane valve if you look into the cap's nozzle.) I found it took a bit of effort to squeeze out the contents, especially if the contents are very thick and the bottle is less than half full. But it keeps my condensed milk fresh and avoids having a sticky, drippy open can stored in the fridge. You can find these in sets with multiple bottles, so if you are serving barbecue sauce or condiments dispensed from large bulk containers at your next event, or if you make up specialty sauces, these are very useful.

In general the product works as described. There is a learning curve using them. The bottles are firm and require a firm pressure to dispense. Too much pressure, a stream shoots across your counter. Finding the sweet spot can be challenging since the pressure can vary with thickness of the sauce. Plus I expect the firmness of the product vary with age - yet to be determined. They work well with items comparable to ketchup or mustard. Unfortunately for items like salad or cooking oil a slow leak occurs. In fairness the description was indicate thick sauces.

You control flow instead of it glug-glugging everywhere or dribbling inconsistently. Kids can use these without creating messes, which matters when you're managing family meal prep constantly. Adults appreciate the control too—exact portions without waste. The plastic construction is durable enough for actual kitchen use. Constant squeezing, regular washing, temperature changes—these hold up without cracking or warping. Lids stay secure. Bottles don't develop weird cloudy discoloration from repeated use. The commercial-grade quality suggests actual restaurant use informed the design. These aren't flimsy consumer products. They're built for serious food preparation, which means they laugh at typical family kitchen demands. Prepping meals for six people became significantly less chaotic when sauces and condiments actually stayed organized. These bottles made that possible without fussiness or complicated systems. Family cooking just got more manageable.

Another Update: it didn't work long, not worth it and was tossed in the gatbage. Should have just bought the Blackstone bottle. Update: got a replacement bottle and it seems to work much better. The top wasn't sealing and I guess it was just a faulty top. Works well and is what I need for a double batch of ranch. Was excited for this to use with homemade ranch, however it is terrible. The top part will not seal and leaks, and also because it won't seal, it won't squeeze out the ranch. Do not waste your money.

UPDATE: I lowered my rating to 1 star because I've never purchased a kitchen item that has made me yell swear words and want to throw it across the room. The incident involved a ketchup explosion and a ruined new shirt. I originally intended to purchase one of these bottles to replace the Heinz ketchup squeeze bottle, which has a poorly designed spout. It requires too much pressure to dispense and once it does, a strong jet of watery ketchup blasts out, making a mess. After reading the reviews saying that the bottles are also good for mayo and even dish soap, I ended up buying three. Now I'm three times more disappointed. The quality seems cheap, as the fill caps don't screw on securely on any of the bottles. They end up popping off the threads and don't create a tight seal. The pressure required to dispense the contents depends on the viscosity of the fluid, but they're no better than the Heinz bottle. In fact, they're worse because the spouts leak when stored facing down. Granted, mayo is a bit too thick to leak, but you have to use two hands and your full strength to get any to come out at all. I'm 6'1" and over 250lbs, and wouldn't consider myself so weak as to be bested by a squeeze bottle. The product listing claims that these bottles are professional-grade and suitable for a commercial kitchen, but I couldn't imagine them ending up anywhere but in the trash after a single use. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

Its ok. The cap of the refillable end does not create a tight seal, so air will escape when squeezing. Not only will air leak through, the sauce will also causing a big mess around the cap threading. It is nice that both ends open up which makes it easy to clean thoroughly. It would be a 5 start product if not for the leaky cap.

I use a lot of hover instead of sugar for tea and coffee. These work amazing and DO NOT drip! I use a could in my shower for shampoo and conditioner and wonderful there also!!!

Surprisingly good. We are using for honey and it works really well.

El bote es algo grande, pero de muy buena calidad un plastico grueso, pero manejable, calidad de restaurante, esta un poco mas enfocado como para aderezos o dips, yo lo uso con aceite de Oliva y va perfecto, le cabe mucho, es muy limpio al usarlo, se rellena por arriba y sale por abajo, al estar parado sin usar la salida queda hacia abajo pero no gotea nunca! me gusto mucho!

Started using this for pancake batter on camping trips and it’s worked great—the squeeze design makes pouring batter onto the griddle way easier and cleaner than trying to ladle or pour from a bulky container, giving more control over portion size for each pancake. The inverted design is a nice touch too, keeps batter settled near the dispensing tip so you’re not stuck shaking it upside down before every use. 32oz is a good size, enough for a solid batch without needing to premix multiple batches, and cleanup afterward is easy since it’s simple to rinse out. Great practical tool for camping breakfasts, would definitely recommend if you’re tired of messy batter pours at the campsite.

We use it to dispense cheese sauce. It’s better than the normal bottle dispenser as it doesn’t splash all over. However, it can be quite difficult to control the amount to dispense. Need quite a bit of practise to handle it well.
