The box was appealing, with some of the most important pros right on the box, such as "fast, 10 sec", "flexible", smiley face indicator, and "switchable" from Fahrenheit to Celsius switching capability. It comes in a clear case, to avoid easily damaging the thermometer, to keep it clean, and to make portability easy. It's super easy to use, and has easy-to-read, simple instructions right on the back of the box, for people like me, who HATE reading instruction sheets! It also tells you what the high temperature range is, especially for those who think 99 degrees is a fever. ;) There is a really cool smiley face indicator, with a smile indicating a temperature < 99 degrees, a "meh" face indicating slightly elevated temperature, and frowning face indicating temperature > 100.I also love that the tip is flexible. I really could've used this when my kids were small, as the thermometers I used had stiff tips, which only made them more angry, because it was comfortable too! Most importantly, it's priced right! This thermometer is perfect for anyone of any age, and I would highly recommend it to anyone!*I would love it even more if it had a low temperature indicator, especially for premature or small infants, who are less able to maintain their own temperatures, and are more likely to have low temperatures when sick, rather than fevers.
