It’s like I have a new violin. It maintains the humidity in the case extremely well. I won’t ever go back to other methods of humidity control.

As buyers of the Fender Acoustasonic know, the Boveda system comes with the guitar. The pouch in this kit is the icing to make using the system to protect my guitar effortless and getting a few spare packets helps too.

So far the temperature is moderate and the humidity hasn't been that low. But the idea behind this to directly humidify the body of the guitar over the sound hole with a holder that should help to contain the moisture is a good one. I've got a Govee hygrometer hanging inside the body and so far the RH between 49-52%. While another guitar with the more traditional Boveda pouch with 2 packs and nothing covering the hole has been between 41-45% RH. A third guitar in its case with 3 packs (2 in the sound hole) has remained between 45-47% RH.Even keeping the RH in this range, unlike when the guitar is in the case or the room is humidified it doesn't keep the wood in the neck humidified so sharp frets could still become an issue in the dry months.
