Flat Satin Ribbon Shoelaces: 2cm Wide Silk Shoe Laces for Women -2 Pair

I bought these satin laces as a last-minute add-on for the custom wedding sneakers I made for my husband and myself — and I’m so glad I did. We added pearls and crystals to classic white sneakers, and the satin laces were truly the perfect finishing touch.They gave the shoes such a soft, elegant look without being too flashy — just enough sheen to catch the light in photos and elevate the whole vibe. They laced easily, felt secure all day, and held up beautifully through hours of dancing.If you’re customizing wedding sneakers, bridesmaid shoes, or even just want to dress up your everyday kicks, I can’t recommend these enough. One of those little details that made our big day feel extra special.

For reference, the shoes in my photo are a women’s US 5 and they have 3 eyelets. I got the 27” black ribbon laces and they fit perfectly, creating the exact size bow I wanted— not too big or too small! Like most ribbon laces, they seem to slowly come undone and may need to be double-knotted to maintain durability— I would keep that in mind when considering which length to get, and consider going one size up to factor for the lost length due to double-knotting. Knowing how these fit my shoes now, I’d likely have gotten the next length up. The quality feels good! I like that they’re the same shiny finish on both sides of the laces, meaning there’s more “room for error” when lacing them, without awkwardly having a matte side showing. If it’s at all helpful to note, I also have the Doc Martens branded ribbon laces: compared to these, they are wider but have a matte side and a shiny side. The DM brand laces don’t come undone as easily as these do. Otherwise, the quality of both feel nearly identical, with neither feeling better or worse than the other. I love the variety of sizes these come in, however— that is ultimately why I opted for these over my branded laces. Definitely very happy with the end result!

I think under normal conditions these would be great. I used them to replace boot laces that broke after 12 years. they look great, gotten several compliments, nice color.

I used these on a pair of converse and these laces didn’t disappoint. The only down side was they were a little long but I manage to make them work.
