Some mind bending modular knitting with textured and colorful knit stitches.
With ”eight schools” this book may take up a good many months of knitting exploration. Vivian Hoxbro has written another lovely collectable reference to entertain any curious knitter.

Sheer genius
The designs in the book are some of her best yet. Her skill with the needles and taking the art form of Knitting to another level entirely is what Vivian is renowned for and this book elevated it to another level. Just brilliant!!

Many Small Errors
This is an interesting book with clever techniques for modular knitting. I’ve been working my way through the eight “schools” and knitting the sample swatches. It’s a good thing I’ve been knitting for years, because the instructions for every one of the eight samples have multiple errors, like “pwise” when it should be “kwise”. Or “work as for shell 2” when it should be “work as for shell 4”. Or “purl across” when it should be “knit across”. I found no errata page at the publisher’s website.
