Women's Anti-theft Tailored Hobo

I was looking for a new lighweight, everyday purse to replace a Baggallini that has straps that drive me nuts (constantly twisted, buckle slipping, falling off my shoulders). I have a Travelon Bucket Bag that I use for travel so thought I would give Travelon a try, because of its more sturdy, slip-resistent strap design. I tried and returned three Travelons, which were either slightly too small or too big until I found the Hobo, which is perfect. It is still lightweight, but holds a lot without bulging (and with room to spare for a water bottle, small umbrella, etc.). The bottom is wide enough so that the bag doesn't fall over when you put it down. It is the smooth Travelon material (some of the styles have a tougher, more rough texture), which I like. The straps do get a bit twisted sometimes, but are very easy to quickly straighten out by turning the strap at the gold hinge, and they stay put on my shoulder. Best of all, it looks like a purse, not a travel bag. I got the Sapphire with the gold hardware, which is really attractive, and there is no logo on the outside. With all this, it comes with all of the Travelon security features. It's a winner!

Chuck's wife here. We share the prime account. First, everyone complaining about the zipper must have forgotten this bag is anti-theft! If it were easy to open, it wouldn't be so secure, would it? The zipper is just a little bit stiff but once you get it open the first couple inches, it works smoothly. This has to be part of the anti theft design. I'm posting pics to show how much stuff can easily fit in here with room to spare. I bought this for travel, but it's also cute enough to use everyday, and I say this as a woman with a handbag addiction. I can fit all my in flight essentials in this bag, and once I'm at my destination and don't need to carry a tablet and full wallet, even more room is there for picking up souvenirs. There are lots of pockets and an adjustable strap so you can use this as a shoulder bag or a cross body. I'm really glad I spent a little extra, because this bag is built to last. Highly recommend.

Loved the size and shape of this purse. Color is pretty and it holds a lot, even a water bottle or a small umbrella. If I had a complaint, it would be that the fabric showed grease stains (which washed out easily in the washer).

This bag has it all: soft, water resistant body; sturdy straps; so many pockets; tons of interior room; not so big it overwhelms you; and the belongings of the person who previously used it. I thought this was a new purse. I was wrong. It arrived with several items in the various pockets, including bandages and used lipstick. It appears it was last used in Italy thanks to the receipts in Italian. Due to the time crunch and the fact that it was perfect for my needs, I kept the purse. It was super clean and had I not found those items I never would have known it was used, all the tags were on it! This bag got me through full days of touring London, fits a water bottle and umbrella as well as external battery, makeup, and more. I used the mini bag from Travelon for shorter days and it was also perfect. It’s a pretty bag and I like that of the two exterior zippers, one is a dark gunmetal so you wear that side facing out for a sleeker look than the shiny silver zipper on the other side.

Wonderful - I cannot say enough about this bag. If you're looking for a travel bag that's comfortable, attractive, not too big and not too small, this is it. I did extensive research before a 2 week European trip and ended up buying this bag and two others. I sent the other two back and kept this one. (The others were the Travelon Anti-Theft Ltd Hobo bag (which is very similar to this one, but I liked the look and the wide opening of this one more) and the Travelon Anti-Theft Ltd Clutch Crossbody Bag (which was just too small)). A few notes: - The zippers worked great. Other reviews said the zippers stick; Travelon must have fixed it. I had absolutely no problems. - I love the RFID pockets and the size of this bag. I could easily fit my passport, large iphone plus, many cards in the wallet slots, regular size plastic water bottle, sunglasses, paperwork/map/etc, lots of beauty products like lip glosses, hand sanitizer, lotion, etc. - It is very easy to make this a cross-body vs one shoulder purse. I've been wearing it both ways. - This bag is so awesome and multi-purpose that I ended up using it in place of a backpack, even on hikes. - I read other reviews about the gold, yes it is bright, but I liked that about it because it made it feel a bit more fancy and sophisticated, i.e. adding to it's multi-purpose appeal. Even since getting back from my trip, I've continued to use it as my daily purse. I'm incredibly impressed by the value for the money. AND, just last night, my friend (who usually wears only brand name purses) fell in love with it. So now I'm here buying one for her, too, and thought I'd write a review while I'm at it. Enjoy!

This particular Hobo Bag has all the features for secure traveling. I did a thorough research on all the Travelon AntiTheft crossbody purses. This bag has the important features for my traveling needs: 1. Secure adjustable strap as described. 2. Anti-Theft pouch and credit card/license holders. The pouch will hold two passports. 3. Clip lock at top of purse's zipper and at front-side pocket. 4. Back side pocket with zipper( very roomy) and an inside pocket with zipper (nice size). 5. Key holder with a very small flashlight attached to inside lining. 6. Nylon outer fabric. Hopefully water resistant. Lining on the inside is a silky-like poly or nylon fabric. I plan on Scotchguarding both the outer and lining fabrics for extra precaution. 7. A small foldable umbrella fits comfortably. A collapsible walking cane with it's small pouch can also fit-in but not if you are also including a wallet and/or other items. BEST TO YOU IN YOUR TRAVELS!

Asked for this for Xmas to replace my old travelon and it is the same quality and an excellent travel purse with good space and lots of pockets. Only complaint is I wish they would bring back the cell phone pocket on the outside as that was the best feature:)

This bag is almost perfect. It is very light yet sturdy and well-made. It looks expensive and classy. I like that it has exterior zip pockets on the front and back. The neutral colour makes this bag easy to match with any outfit. The only issue for me is that I think this bag is a little too big for my petite frame. But I will still use this bag because I like it so much.

Muy cómoda, no es grande pero le cabe lo necesario (una agenda, mi cartera y aún queda espacio para cosas pequeñas). Para mí es perfecta para el día a día.
