Just received mine yesterday. The box says Made in China.

Why does this say FDA approved? The FDA does not approve wine openers. This is misleading.

Well, I just noticed that now that you mentioned it. I have no idea, and like you, I don’t assume the FDA has anything to say regarding cork screws.

This is a Opener with quality and construction that is more then worthy of what you paid for it.

For the value paid this is worth every penny and then some. Good thickness, construction, design and construction. Hard to say how it will put up in the long run but looks worthy of giving it a big thumbs-up at this time.Great Value and a very good purchase.
