In South Texas during late spring/summer season mosquitoes are not only so big, that they can carry you away, they also sting you and leave welts after they bite. I was having a problem in our backyard and since we have three shorthaired dogs, I would have them hurry up and use the bathroom because I’ve seen dogs welt up from getting bit by so many mosquitoes. So I stumbled on this asked a couple people around my neighborhood and this is what you want to use! After using this, the mosquitoes were gone, the only downfall is because it’s still a rainy season it washes away. But I will continue to use this over and over again if it means no mosquitoes around us! Also, if you do have dogs, make sure they don’t go outside for at least an hour or until the grass is dry to make sure that they don’t get sick, or the runs! 1 bottle covered our whole backyard!

It didn't eliminate every mosquito, but it made a significant difference in the numbers. Prior to spraying this stuff, I would step outside and withing seconds get attached by a swarm of mosquitos. Will definitely keep on using.

I live in Michigan and I saw a tick while in my backyard. I bought this spray to get rid of the ticks and mosquitos in our yard. It was super easy to connect to our hose and then spray the yard. There has been a huge decrease in the mosquitos, ticks, and other bugs in our yard! Which is exactly what I wanted since I have pets and children. The scent just smells slightly like deet, but it isn't super strong smelling. I didn't have an issue with these leaking from the hose spout or the spray part. Good value for the money and will be using this product again!

I have been using this product for a couple years now, have been recently purchased on Amazon because I’ve been going to our local Ace Hardware previously to pick these up (but they were out of stock). These are easy to used as they just hook up to your water hose. I find it pretty easy on the safety standpoint because you can just unhook it when you’re done if you haven’t used the whole bottle. It also has a safety switch so you can turn it off if you need to pause using it in your yard. I think the volume is great value for your money, especially as it’s a product that is diluted as used. I have noticed some bottles leak slightly compared to others. I blame that on the cutter brand itself. I think some bottles aren’t as tightened as well as others. I’m not sure about the effectiveness of the product, as I use this on the week that we don’t have our lawn company spraying for mosquitoes. I haven’t really noticed of reduction in mosquitoes from just using this alone. When my wife and I and friends are outside, we also use citronella candles, torches, and incense sticks to deter mosquitoes while wearing bug spray. Most of my usage tends to be towards the neighbors yard who doesn’t spray anything, but I keep this away from our garden where my wife plants vegetables, and herbs. The product says it’s safe for pets, but I always wait till the end of the day, or it has completely dried before letting my dog out in the yard to play or do it’s business. I wouldn’t recommend spraying this and then letting your kids play outside until the end of the day as well.

Buying 3 at one time is a great savings and also - it will cover your backyard anti-mosquito needs for 3/4 of the year. Just spray before a rain and you'll see a great reduction in the pests. (No one can complete eradicate them.)

Have used this cutter brand bug control spray for several seasons with mixed results. Have always applied per directions, even increasing amount sprayed. However, especially disappointed with results this year. Follow directions applying liberally with back and forth spraying streams, doubling back several times. Applied first in early June and then again 2 weeks later. Gnats, mosquitoes, & other biting creatures returned quickly and within 2 weeks of the 2nd application they were out in full force requiring us to use personal "Off" spray whenever working in backyard garden or on flowers & shrubs. Quite frustrating. In all fairness, over the years I have tried other brands with even worse results. And, ironically when I first switched to Cutter brand it seemed nearly 100% effective the first season. Yard and vegetation are the same and as far as I can tell, hose and water pressure is fine, & weather seems to have been relatively consistent each year. On the plus side -- The price is in line with other brands, the hose connection has always been solid with no leaks and the on/off mechanism is easy to operate. I considered giving it a 3 but am staying with the 4 for now primarily in the interest of review fairness, as it's possible the lack of effectiveness is partially related to unknown changes in my soil conditioning or cumulative seasonal weather conditions?
