Strong, well made, exactly as listed
Super easy to install and strong enough to snap a 5/8ths in shaft on a auger.

Great concept
I enjoy this attachment alot. Rather than carrying two different tools I carry my impact and this little guy. I have a 3/8 which doesn't fit the 1/2 in that comes with this. Looked online a bit and found a low profile 1/2 to 3/8 and works perfect. Just have to be a little creative. The opening on chuck is really nice, not small like other sellers have.

Would not accept 1/2" hex shank bit.
I needed a chuck that could accept a 1/2" hex shank bit (extractor bit from a "TOPME" extractor set). I asked Amazon's "Rufus" AI agent if this chuck would accept it, and this was the conversation:"Will the jaws accept a 1/2" hex shank bit?"Rufus answered:"Based on the product information, it appears that the jaws of this chuck can accept a 1/2" hex shank bit. The keyless chuck is designed to securely hold round shank drill bits ranging from 1.5mm to 13mm in size. While the product information does not explicitly mention compatibility with 1/2" hex shank bits, the range of 1.5mm to 13mm suggests that it should be able to accommodate a 1/2" hex shank bit, which falls within this size range."I received the item quickly in good shape with the three different chuck attachment options included. The chuck opened and close smoothly. I fully retracted the jaws into the chuck, but the 1/2" hex shank could not even get past the circular opening to get into the jaws. Returning for refund because the 1/2" hex shank was the only reason I needed it. (I guess the problem with the description is that while the hex shank measures 1/2" side-to-side, the corner to corner width of the hex shank is larger than 1/2".)Giving it 4 stars because it was in original packaging, in good shape, and one the one trial the chuck opened and closed smoothly, but I did not actually get to drill anything with the chuck. (I wish Amazon had an addition rating for "Did not get to use.")

ABSOLUTE JUNK
For those who don't realize, this is an extension chuck (or makeshift replacement chuck), which can be affixed onto your common drill, in case the chuck on your drill is failing. So I used this chuck ONCE, to try and install simple window blinds. And if you've ever done this, you know that window blind screws are really tiny. And still, THIS was all it took for this piece of garbage to break. This extension chuck locked up completely, making it impossible to unscrew and release the screwhead-bit.So... you'd think that, at least you could still use the extension chuck, as long as you don't have to change out the screw-bit, right? --NOPE. Because no matter what I did, or what direction I'd rotate the extension chuck, it would just make a clicking noise and rotate. Clockwise, counter clockwise. Doesn't matter.Just broken. In the first 5 minutes. By trying to screw in window blind screws that are less than an inch long.So if you're thinking about buying this trash, consider better investments. Like maybe a left-handed pair of scissors... when you're right handed...Hey... Smarter than buying THIS piece of garbage.

Fits 1/2 inch impact wrench
This fit very well, but needed a bit of oil to prevent any future rust. All parts were clean and assemble as well. This is a very good item for the price and the quality is A+. No chuck key is needed, which is why I chose this one. I will update, once I put this to heavy use.

Works on my hammer drill
This is a nice all metal drill chuck that has been working on my hammer drill for 6 months now. This ex-tradesman has no complaints about this particular far east manufactured product.

Saved my impact driver!
My Bosch impact driver had a problem with the 1/4" quick change chuck shortly after I purchased it. Apparently, that is common with the model I purchased. The 1/2" drive still worked, and I was able to throw this keyless chuck on it and get it back to life. I will update if I have any problems with longevity.

Cheap and not good for large taps
This product broke on me after one use with a M18 drill bit. Yes the product fit the large shank, but upon drilling out my whole and trying to remove my bit, the keyless design was seized up as well as the 1/2 drive insert on the rear. I used this product on my 12v Milwaukie impact driver and that was enough to put this thing in shambles after one use. I would say it cannot handle the needed torque for use on large bits; drilling out large holes. But for possibly smaller bits not requiring speed and torque, maybe this product would last longer than one use. I should have went with a keyed chuck design as I feared this might happen, and it did. If your attempting to convert your impact driver to a drill to accept large shank bits, this is not the product for you.
