How do you keep records from falling over if not full?

Sit some books beside it. I bought it for my son who recently started collecting records and we just sit a few books beside the records and that keeps them in place.

What is the height of the unit including the records? Trying to make sure this will fit under a shelf.

18 1/2 inches from tip of album to the floor.

Is it possible to purchase additional support bars?

I have (4) single racks that hold 50-75 albums each, I'd order more, but outta room for anymore (Quick/Easy)

Could this go on a nightstand?

It would take up the whole nightstand, but it would fit.
