This portable is somewhat unique in its size, FM sensitivity (which is very good), and its value for the cost. It plays loud for the small wattage it puts out. Don't expect booming bass, but the sound is clear. I found it will pull in weak stations with a little jiggling of the dial and the antenna. Beware, you can't leave the AC cord in and expect it to run on batteries.. take the cord off to switch to battery operation.

Bought to listen to at night, but only one or two stations come in, and they are all static and come in and out, and the two stations that may work at times are lousy.Really, like I want to hear that. Wasted money for sure.

This needs me to try it again with batteries as I haven’t been able to do that yet- then I will be able to give a better review

I love my am fm radio, good reception on both am or fm. Station numbers are easily visible, great speakers, good reception and volumn.Plus it takes batteries, so when the storms come in and we are out of power for a few days, I have talk radio to entertain me. Love it.

Delivery on time (next day). Took radio out of the box, plugged it in and it worked just fine. I wanted a simple AM / FM radio and this product is good.

It was a gift to my father. He loves it.
