Great value
These aren't fantastic Sable brushes, but they are decent quality and you can't beat the value. I use these brushes for painting miniatures and they are very good for that purpose. I find that I get at least a couple dozen painting sessions out of each brush, as long as I take decent care of them. I always wash them when I'm done and use a brush cleaner/conditioner on them, but that keeps them in good condition for quite a while. Most of the brushes I received were in as good, or better condition than more expensive brushes I've purchased. The size and shape of the brushes is a little inconsistent throughout the package, but I find that to be a help instead of a hindrance. It allows you to pick different brushes that are better suited to the task. They're also great for new painters to the hobby because there's no guilt if you destroy a brush. These brushes are a fantastic value and I highly recommend them to any miniature painter.

Really a good deal for 50 pcs pack of brushes having adequate performance and very affordable price
The media could not be loaded. I have been using this type of brushes for a couple of days before coming back to give the review here. Overall, I am very satisfied with them due to its very affordable price and adequate performance. They can hold a sharp point, can resume its shape quickly after I lay down a brush stroke, and they are durable for a couple of days without a problem in my painting.Of course, because they cost so much less I don't expect they can deliver equal performance as those expensive kolinsky sable brushes do for a long time (yes, I do have some expensive brushes like Winsor & Newton Series 7 that I frequently use in my painting). But they are so affordable that I can even just throw a brush away when its performance started to degrade a bit after a few days of use. No need to worry about or spend extra time to take care of the brushes as I used to for my expensive brushes because I have 50 brushes in a pack! That's really good for me and saving me time.Overall, 5 stars and highly recommended budget product in supplement to my current set of brushes.[Edit on Oct 31] Added a short video here that I recorded using my mobile phone when receiving the pack a few months ago. I have been using this pack of brushes for some time and I am very satisfied with it. A really great deal with a great balance between performance and unit price. I will certainly order more when these are used up.

The tips are too long for what I need.
Not a bad brush for the price. Can use many times if cared for. It just doesn’t work well with my technique.

Excellent daily driver brushes
These are great brushes for regular use miniature painting. I enjoy the stiffness and tip retention of the bristles. I'm still on my first one after quite a bit of painting, so I'm confident this pack will last me a very long time.

Definitely going to be buying these from now on for my paint by numbers!
Awesome! These are such a great price. In my experience all my brushes, whether premium or not, fray and curl quickly because I use acrylic paints and I'm not especially careful to maintain my brushes. This is a fantastic set of brushes!

Good bulk set of detail brushes
We purchased these for doing small details on religious statues such as the eyes, eyelashes and for small gold trim on robes etc,. Very nice that you can get 50 for such a good price. Would recommend and will purchase again as I need them.

One Happy Cheap, er Choice, is a good value for paint clubs and beginners.
TL;DR I purchase these brushes for a local paint club because they have a decent tip, and a decent lifespan , even when treated roughly.Longer Description: These are solid C+ brushes with a good price per brush. The handles are thin and short, and the ferrule is not always glued to the handle. Be prepared with your own glue to fix the ones with this "feature". If you clean them after each painting session, they will last a reasonable amount of time. The bristles are thicker than other synthetic brushes and paint seems to slide off of the brush "faster". I think it's a characteristic of the thicker bristles.Anecdotes: I run a gaming store paint club that allows customers to use the painting area any time the store is open. This results in severe cases of brush abuse. These brushes are left bristles down in rinse water, caked with paint, and they are generally mashed into things with heavy handed glee. That's OK! They are affordably priced AND they clean up easily with brush cleaner. If you CAN watch the brushes when they are used, you can prevent some of the things I cannot prevent. This means a longer lifespan and and even BETTER value per brush!

Great quality!
These are comparable to brushes at 10x the cost. I use them for automotive touch up and they hold up and last for multiple jobs if cleaned well. Highly recommend!

Long, thin flimsy bristles

For 40p a brush they fair pretty well.
Surprised how well they hold paint ( Oil paint in my case. Id say they last as long as it takes to paint detail covering an A3 board without the tips splaying too much.I would say they are good for line details ( edging ) but dont produce as consistent a line as more expensive brushes do..You just need to hold the hand a little steadier thats all.

Make sure you have glue handy
Great value for the amount of brushes you receive. You will need glue however, about one quarter of the silver brush holder tops detached from the wooden handles. An easy fix, but this will happen to you. The glue used in manufacturing was obviously not high quality. The brushes themselves are fine and good for detail work. I've been using them for acrylic on canvas painting.I would buy again considering the low price, huge quantity, and decent brush head (even if I have to re-glue the holders to the handles).
