FABULOUS TASTE!
This is significantly higher in protein than most other meal replacements. And, as protein is the most expensive macro', this would go some way to explaining the higher cost. But, even so, it's still a bit overpriced, I think.I'd like the sugar content to be lower but, at 7.4%, it's not exactly high, so that's just a minor point.Notwithstanding the foregoing reservations, however, it has to be said that this is an exceptionally nutritious, plant-based meal replacement. And, as regards the taste - well, just WOW! You won't find better (and we've spent a lot of time searching).... I've just read some previous reviews, and I have to say I honestly cannot understand anyone saying this shake is 'grainy' or in any way less than fabulous. (I speak of the chocolate version.) We've been using vegan proteins and vegan meal replacements for two decades or more. None - absolutely not one! - has a better taste and texture than this. One taste, and we immediately reordered.I guess the one good thing of negative reviews is that they'll deter some gullible people from purchasing - meaning there's more for the rest of us!Bravo, Rustle! An utterly parless MRP.... Post Script: We've made half a dozen or more purchases of Rustle now. I think it's worth mentioning that, while the product is excellent, the packaging is rather flimsy and unconvincing. Inevitably, then, we have just experienced, with the latest order, a burst package and all the mess, loss of product and nuisance that goes with it. This order came in a box with another MRP in a pouch. The other MRP was packed in a more substantial pouch and was completely intact. Please consider improving the packaging.... Post Post Script: We would buy this product again - in large amounts! - but only if we know if it has a long Best-Before Date. Our last purchases were dated September 2023, so we've held off buying again. If anyone can assure us that Rustle has a new, longer Best-Before Date, please let us know.

Taste isn't bad, texture is gritty, not good long-term
This meal replacement shake is really good quality, with 42% protein, 24% carbs and 14% fiber it is pretty lean and ideal for those aiming to lose weight in a healthy way.It is heavily fortified with a huge array of vitamins and minerals, you don't need to worry about sacrificing nutrients. If anything there might actually be *too many* nutrients in this; with each 67g serving containing 83% of your NRV of copper, 84% of iron and 73% of chloride. If taking 2 servings a day, you'd be consuming 64% OVER the recommended value of iron, for example. Which probably won't hurt short-term but should probably be avoided long-term to avoid toxicity of some minerals in particular. The taste is pretty good - it isn't very sweet, but not bitter either. It has quite a nutty flavour and tastes more like chocolate-hazelnut than plain chocolate. This nuttiness is probably due to the flax seeds, pumpkin seeds and coconut powder as it doesn't actually contain nuts.It blends pretty well without lumps, but I did find the texture quite unpleasantly gritty, making it a little difficult to swallow. The bag is resealable and has a plastic velcro-like seal - which is very easy to use and doesn't clog up with powder as easily as the ziploc-type closures, but it isn't as airtight.Overall, it is a pretty good meal replacement and I would recommend it but perhaps not for long-term use.

Functional but not a good taste
Does what it sets out to do, very powdery/grainy taste and texture. Better with milk but this pushes the calorie intake up to 391 which I was hoping to keep down but can’t tolerate it with water alone.

Cocoa flavoured chalk
Vile texture. Tastes like chalk. It's like eating flour only wet. Don't waste your money like I did.

Great supplement
I’ve started going to the gym much more nowadays and wanted a good quality protein supplement. I mix this one with milk rather than water and find it tasty. It is quite thick like a milkshake so bear this in mind. In terms of bloating, you’d probably want to take this after a workout as opposed to before. like I said, it does taste good and has a good carb to protein ratio. I recommend this supplement.

Flavour - fine, aftertaste - 🤢
This is full of nutrients and on paper should be perfect for weight loss - that is, if you can actually drink it! Okay, admittedly drinking it is fine, although I'm not keen on the texture. It's the aftertaste that's pretty awful - I've had to eat yoghurts, have a hot chocolate, cup of tea, and a couple of biscuits (not after the same time!)I've tried it 4 times and I can't face trying it again. So 3 stars because 1 or 2 would be mean!

Filling and nutritious
I'm not looking to lose weight, but there are times when I can't be bothered to eat, so a quick complete meal is a great help. In that sense, I would compare this to Huel.I made it with 2 scoops, and half soya milk and half water, for additional nutrition and because I had some soya milk which needed using up. It mixes really well, and makes a thick shake which tastes good. I found it very filling, much more than my usual breakfast. This plus a piece of fruit should definitely keep you filled up until the next meal. It's great to know I am getting something which covers all my nutritional bases and is no trouble at all to make. Considering the price of actual food this is reasonable, and it compares quite well with Huel- 2 scoops has less calories than Huel, but 3 scoops has similar calories, similar protein and other nutrients. So mostly the idea of this being a diet food depends on the portion size. I found 2 scoops to be filling, but it isn't a good idea to go on a crash diet with super low calorie meal replacements. Look at the damage Slimfast did to people in the 90s- that's not sustainable weight loss. So I recommend this as a meal replacement, but would prefer they put less focus on the idea of using it to diet.
