Playing The Psaltery Made Easy Vol I

To be honest, I wasn't sure about this book since it didn't have many reviews about notes or lack of.I personally like notes/measures for timing and such and numbers are fine to use when you know the song for rythme and such.But over all is is not bad, I like that some songs have a small history about the song and that there are one set for the mountain and the psaltry so this book can be for 2 different instruments.The book does have a nice break down for the instrument, playing, turning and it's frequency for each notes break down!And of course the history of the psaltry.I just wished it had notes/mesures added.

This book makes playing the psaltry quite easy, especially since I don,t read music.

great book for beginners. tablature conversion is especially usefu.

Lots of songs at different levels to try. Love that it pairs with the dulcimer book so my husband and I can play together.

I would rather have notes. Words and numbers don't do it for me.
