awesome
This is such a cute little book. I don’t know much about pocket book except that they are small in size with barely readable font. But this Fingerprint published Jungle Book pocket classic is fantastic. Its green cover has golden markings on it and the font is appropriate to be easily read. Since the book is small, it is easy to carry around and can be taken anywhere. Also, as for the book and the story itself, Jungle book is a masterpiece. It is a 100-year-old tale that has been retold plenty of times. The story of Mogwli and Bhageera, Sher Khan and others in the deep deep forest. The imagery and plot of the book is so fantastic. It has always been one of my favourite books. It has memorable characters and can be read so easily. Since I already had a copy of this book for my personal collection, I bought this one as a gift and I was surprised that it is really cheap. I mean, who can even buy a book for less than hundred bucks and that too, a classic in today’s time. So, huge recommend to any person wanting to buy it.

It never gets old
Well, I don't think I have to write much about this book as I think almost everyone is aware of this old age story I think it's been there for more than 100 years. But, there was one thing that I never had the chance to read it we all have watched different types of cartoons and movies in our life but reading it was one of the best experiences to relive this story.I feel so proud because an english author wrote a story on Indian soil.As we all know that this story revolves around various animals such as Sher Khan the tiger, Bagheera the black panther and Baloo the bear and our protagonist who is a boy "Mowgli" raised by wolves in the jungle someplace near Seoni. As he matures he starts to understand the 'Law of the Jungle' and the book follows his many adventures alongside the myriad creatures around him. Kipling does manage to create an intense world that sucks you in with his descriptions of the jungle and the creatures that live there. I felt myself hearing the strange noises, feeling the ground slither with snakes and sweating in the heat of the penetrating environment of the jungle's overpowering force. When Mowgli swings from the vines in the gripped of the monkeys I thought it was a moment of release and wanted him to swing to freedom. But once again, the terror of the place gets the better of him and he is back down below suffering another beating for getting himself into trouble. The books I enjoy give me a character I can understand and root for and in my opinion The Jungle Book was one of them. Even after knowing what will happen next to the story I couldn't resist myself turning the pages and it just kept me going. It was on hell of ride reliving this beautiful work by Rudyard Kipling.

It's a good buy
It is so cute..It's smaller than I expected. One star less cuz no bookmark and the corner of the cover on the back side was folded probably in transit which ruined my excitement a little.
