There are no instructions with this kit. The person I bought this for is an archeologist who teaches a class that involves basketry and there are pieces in this kit that we can't identify or imagine a use for.Additionally there are essentials for pine needle basketry such as needles and waxed thread that are not included. I also had to order brass gauges because the card gauge in the kit was very difficult to use. As a kit for beginners it should have included at least the basic necessities and an itemized list of what each item is called.
