Amazon Brand – Pinzon Unisex Terry Bathrobe 100% Cotton, Marine, Medium / Large

I've had it over a year and it is by far my favorite robe I've ever owned! I tested out and compared 15 brands and types, and this is the best one. It's so comfortable, soft while still being absorbent, has a comforting weight without weighing you down, and is thick without being overly dense or stiff.After the first use I had some stray fuzz on me, but after washing it that never happened again. And it still looks and feels brand new over a year later.If you're looking for a paper-thin weightless robe, this isn't for you. If you're looking for a spa level, luxurious robe, I highly recommend this one!

I had been looking to replace my old bath robe for a long time but wasn't able to find one that was absorbent like a towel. This robe is almost exactly what I wanted. My old robe had smaller loops on the outside than the absorbent inside which meant less danger of snags. The Pinzon robe has the same size (larger) loops both inside and outside. That's the only thing I don't like. The robe is very thick, soft, and warm.Reading other reviews the main complaints were:-the robe discolors after washing-the robe has a bad smellWhen I took the robe out of the plastic, there was a bad smell. It was not overpowering but it was definitely there. Per instructions the robe is supposed to be washed in cold water, delicate cycle before use. I did as instructed and the bad smell was completely gone afterwards. Also, the robe became fluffier and softer. Best of all: My robe did not discolor! I will update this review if it discolors after repeated washings.The robe is made in India. I bought a marine, medium/large. It fits perfectly. I am 5'7", 155 pounds. The robe goes to about 2 inches below my knees.

1-2-20I'm reviewing the Pinzon Terry Bathrobe in a size S/M in the color of white. I needed a replacement for my old, worn terrycloth bathrobe, which was over 15 yrs old.I use the robe in place of a bath towel, for when I'm exiting the shower or a soak in the tub. I find I can continue with my hygiene ritual once I'm out of the shower more easily. Apply my lotions to legs or face, brush out my hair, brush my teeth etc... and do so while staying warm and absorbing whatever water is still dripping off my hair or body. I'm a small framed female with slightly longer than shoulder length hair, about 115 to 120 lbs fluctuating, 5'4" and the size or fit of the S/M is perfect!To me, this is not lightweight, it's more of a medium to heavy, which is exactly what I was looking for. I've been searching for a few months for a robe that suited my needs or requirements.... Longer than knee length, long sleeves (to the wrist, not 3/4 like many others), and thick, absorbent, cotton terrycloth (I can't stand the plush or flanel materials often used instead and found at most brick and mortar stores). This was perfect. The terrycloth material used closely resembles the material used on high end bath towels.I have had this robe for a couple months now. When I 1st received it, it was washed .. for one, to remove any loose material or lint from the mending or sewing process, but secondly, because I use it exclusively for getting out of the shower. I couldn't get passed using a towel or robe that isn't 100% clean. How many people handled it before it was shipped to me, during assembly, or packaging? I've washed this quite a few times since purchase and the material is holding up nicely. I wash it once a week, but the material is as thick and fluffy as ever. Nothing is unraveling, no loose threads, I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.I bought this from the seller "Amazon", and it was fulfilled by Amazon, which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review.

Platinum, yeah...right. It's grey. Could be prison issue (if prisons issued bathrobes). Wish it came in more color choices. All that being said, this is a comfortable, well- made, absorbent bathrobe. None of the people who received these as gifts from us last Christmas complained.

I ordered this for using at the pool where I'm moving, and haven't used it yet, but out of the package I can say it's plush and fluffy, soft and cuddly. MUCH nicer than I was expecting. It IS rather heavy, so if you're looking for something more summer weight - this isn't it. If you want something thick and cozy, this is an excellent choice. I love the thick collar and the cuffs. They are heavy enough to make it easy to pull it on over a wet swimsuit or wet skin without struggling to get it on. The belt is plenty long, and the length seems pretty perfect. A little more ankle length on me - I'm 5'2 - but seems like it could work well for most people. Very good quality.

Old robe of 25 years in tatters and mended numerous times was replaced by this soft grey robe that left nothing skimped on. Two ample pockets, a more than ample length belt held by loops was washed twice now without loosing itself in the lint filter. It’s grey for sure but I detected a bit of greenish color that was born out looking at the debris in lint filter. 5’5” it falls to mid-calf plenty long to keep a body warm. It feels snuggly too.I’d not say it was truly lightweight. More medium to fairly heavy. A few minor threads to trim easily. No worries There as I sew and know where to look. Know too how hard it is to approach perfection.BEST of all it’s cotton. Soft breathable cotton. When most manufacturers are opting for polyester this robe seems to have not a thread of dreaded polyester. HOORAY! No more overheating due natural breathable cotton.Glad to have such a great robe after looking everywhere!

This house coat past the test!!! My husband never worn one before nor did he want one...until I gave him this for our anniversary. The colour is more of a blue gray but suits him well. Before I gave it to him it has to be laundered because it had a smell. So I washed it in cool water and tumbled dried without fabric softener. When it came out it was very soft and no falling threads. I purchased him the large extra Large size. For a man that's 6' and 185lbs it fits great and holds it shape. The reason I bought this one is because it's Terry cloth and absorbed the water after his shower. He is truly appreciating the quick warm cover up in the morning to put the dogs out!!! Now who gets to sleep in now "Me"....

Soy mujer de altura promedio pero un poco llenita así que compré la talla mediana-grande, y me quedó enorme! De largo súper bien y las mangas un poquito largas (se pueden doblar así que no importa), pero de ancho es demasiado grande. Mejor se lo regalé a mi esposo (1.77 de altura, talla mediana) y le quedó perfectamente.Mujeres chequen bien sus medidas. La calidad es excelente (suave, bonito, grueso, abrigador), así que lo volveré a comprar porque me encantó pero ahora en talla chico-mediano.EDIT: Eviten a toda costa salpicar o limpiarse con la bata los restos de pasta, aftershave o similares, porque se decolora o hacen manchas :/

Qualità eccezionale di questo accappatoio, però senza cappuccio, purtroppo. Spesso, avvolgente, morbidissimo, abbondante nelle misure, come deve essere un accappatoio. Asciuga benissimo. Trovo che questo grigio sia fine e sobrio. Consigliatissimo.
