Boyd Chemiclean Red Cyano Bacteria Remover Treatment - 2 grams

Worked well on my mixed reef tank, no detrimental affect on coral, fish or inverts, have used twice so far as I’m still working on fixing the cause, but this does work well to give it a good clear out. Skimmer will go mad for a week or so afterwards but haven’t noticed any ill effects.

Did exactly what other reviews had said it would! Removed red algae from 300l marine tank. Remember to use activated charcoal to remove it from the water once it has done its job. Highly recommended!

I woke up yesterday morning to find all my saltwater fish dead. Some floating on the top some just lying on the bottom. Totally gutted 2 paired lovelly clownfish. 5 chromis. 1 cardinal fish and some damsells. All because I had bad cyanobacteria. And I didn't even use the amount as prescribed as I seen another review saying they lost all their fish so got a bit scared and only used half of what I should have. So now haven't the heart for it to happen again for whatever reason so selling all my stuff....

Didn't take long for results but didn't remove all.

Had quite a bad cyano outbreak after upgrading my tank and couldn’t shift it. Having used this in the past I gave it another go. After two days the pics speak for themselves! No effect on fish, corals or clean up crew. Only use a tiny amount so will have on hand for any future outbreaks!

As the title says, I was skeptical as the packaging looked 'wrong', but I have to say it fixed my problem, as a advertised. Followed the instruction to the letter and, for the first time in forever, nice clean-looking sand. I only have soft leather corals and the usua; CUC (snails and crabs) plus the usual fish, and there have been seemingly no side effects.Not cheap, but I'm happy with the results.

this basically wiped out my tank far to dangerous to use find an alternative i fish left killed all fish but not the problem

I have used this in the past with good results. This time after 3 days of treatment, it did not work. They may have changed the ingrediants as this time the skimmer did not go mad unlike ealier Chemiclean which did.

Used for cyanobacteria in two of my freshwater aquariums and it cleared it completely. I have been struggling with a breakout for over a year. It did take slightly longer to clear up than specified on the package and caused some brief cloudiness. Fish, snails and plants were mostly unaffected though my java ferns seem to have died off after treatment in both tanks.
