Excellent—if properly setup as destination disk
I’ve opted to use this OWC 1tb as a MacBook Air M2 external backup SSD, rather than as a Time Capsule destination disk. I use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup to this OWC. Both good decisions & works well. To format the OWC for Mac I followed steps in CCC & Mac Disc Utility to erase, format, & use for Mac (did not use or double click OWC’s included app to setup). With this careful setup backups are a breeze for backups. Very pleased to have this handy, mobile SSD!
