Perfect boot for outdoorsy folks whose feet ain't what they used to be!
My husband's lifetime of working, hunting, hiking and rambling in rough terrain has caught up to him. These boots will give him more years of doing what he loves. The ankle support is excellent as well as the stability. Plenty of room in the toebox as well. Worth the money. He was reluctant to spend so much, so I just bought them! He wishes he would have bought them sooner.

Changed my outlook for hunting again
These boots are amazing. The ankle support from the composite braces is exactly what I needed for my chronic weak ankle. True to size and width. Material and craftsmanship is on a level commenceret to the price.

FSA eligible and amazing fit
If you have chronic ankle instability or other ankle/foot issue and can and get your medical provider to give you a prescription for DME bilateral ankle orthosis you can use an FSA account or similar to cover the cost of these boots. They truly fit like a glove I would say they run slightly narrow in the toe. I was planning to wear thick hiking socks with these but felt a bit to much contact on my little toe so switched to thinner socks and the fit is so secure that I don't notice any ankle or forefoot movement at all. If I get a second pair later I will probably jump up a 1/2 size but i want to see how they stretch and break in . The roll from the 19* sole means there is almost no flex occurring across the top of the forefoot of the boot unless you are taking long strides or running. I pretty much only wear boots daily and wanted these mostly for hiking. I have a collection of Zamberlan, Scarpa and Alico boots. These boots are more comfortable than all of them despite the more restricted movement. However, all these brands I own are Italian made. I have tried just about every brand of boot and nothing can compare to Italian boot quality and fit. Still debating if I want to use Kenetrek leather treatment on them or not as it does change the color of the boots significantly.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I’m a huge fan and have been massively impressed. Boots arrived and fit just right. I have a lot of foot issues for a young person but still love to get out in the mountains after big game, and this boot allows me to do that. The break in took a while but they are excellent boots. You get what you pay for.

Honest & helpful product reviews
Very nice boots! ( review Dec. 9/23 ). Ive had my Kenetrek Everstep ortho boots a year now, and I think they're the best boots I owe. The ankle support and comfort is great, live in a warm weather state - wear them (typically 4 times week all day) with a light or medium weight sock and the insulation in these boots has never been a problem. Will consider a second pair for sure! Thanks!

Game Changer
With my ankle and foot problems, these boots are a game changer. Expensive but well worth it.

Easy break in, super support, comfortable
I have super lax, ankles that roll easily. I've been working my way up, getting stiffer and stiffer boots, to no avail. Lowa GTX Sheep Hunter Extremes were my previous stop. They were so stiff that they were uncomfortable to walk in, and my ankles still rolled. The Kentrek Eversteps on the other hand are more comfortable, AND do a great job of roll stabilization. I'm not sure how they did it, but somehow they managed to make the boot stiff side to side, but not too stiff front to back.
