Purchased this for my off grid system and parralleled to a few other battery configurations. I have put it through the ringer and it is performing extremely well.Battery came well packaged, has a hard case and have a screen that shows battery starts which is a plus. Battery was slightly over started capacity and cells came well balanced. Easy setup.Overall in super impressed by this battery, you can't beat the value. Would but 10 times over.

I bought the wall hung version. There's a steel wedge shape piece welded onto the back of the case that mates with the bracket that's meant to be mounted on the wall. So one needs to pick up the (>100 lb) case and hang it, not unlike hanging a picture frame on those small metal hooks nailed on the wall; just a lot heavier. The case seems well made and I'm sure at least part of it is metal.So far the usage/testing on the unit I'm able to share is as follows:1. Charged using a Victron Smart Solar with 800W of solar panels2. To discharge, used a Reliable pure sine 1500W to power a portable EV Level 1 charger set at 10A to charge my EV over a 100' 12 AWG ext cordResults:1. Going from 0% to 99%, Smart solar reported 7.8 KWH input to battery (vs the advertised capacity of 7.68 KWH). It stopped charging at 99%, not 100%, likely due to charge voltage setting, I suppose.2. Car charging began and ran until battery low voltage shut off. The portable car charger's display showed a total charge power of 7.9 KWH. (Yes, it's too good to be true. The reason is because Smart Solar put in an extra 1.7 KWH from the panels during the course of car charging.)3. If my math is correct, a total of 9.5 KWH (7.8+1.7) of battery capacity yielded 7.9 KWH of car charging. That's a 1.6 KWH deficit, about 16.8% of efficiency loss between the inverter, the car charger, the 100 ft. ext cord. I suppose that's reasonable.In closing, if I haven't messed up too much with my testing and math, the advertised capacity of 7.68 KWH is on target. Would I recommend it? I would, not because I know the inside wiring is done well and the cells are great; 'cos I don't. I have not even opened the case and am afraid to do so. The thing may die tomorrow. I just don't know. But for the price and the way it feels and performs, it's not easy to pass on this one. The front display that shows much of what I care about is a nice touch.One last thing: on low voltage shutdown, the cell voltages seem quite balanced - 2.852V to 2.909V. See photos taken five minutes after shut-down.

Maybe a good battery if it is compatible with your inverter. Be sure to check for compatibility. Returns are accepted but you will foot the bill yourself!

Does exactly what they're supposed to do, and report from the BMS is great! I've got this hooked up to a solar MPPT charger (Renogy), and then Enphase grid-tie inverters to supplement the grid. Works great! Customer service is first tier!

How amazing, they have an app to diagnose and correct issues with their batteries via the Internet. I purchased 2 batteries, one was periodically throwing an alarm. Their tech stayed with me till he tracked down the problem. It was one cell delivering a low voltage signal. I had a new replacement battery so fast it made my head spin. Both batteries are performing as expected and I expect that they will do so for years.

The media could not be loaded. This battery is 19"x19"x6" and weighs 130 pounds, not 114 as in the description (see images)I purchased the wall mount version and assume the rack mount will be the same except for the placement of the display and the mounting brackets on the back.The battery terminals are tied together internally with buss bars equivalent to between 2-3awg (American Wire Gauge) copper wires. However, the wires from the buss bars to the battery cells are a single 7awg for positive and two 8awg for the negative which seems to be undersized for a battery of this size and current rating (100A). It has four temperature switches inside but not sure if any are for low temperature until I do the follow up review of installation and capacity. There is no short circuit protection such as a fuse or breaker that I see.It seems to be well made otherwise and look forward to fully testing it soon. I believe the wall mount version is best suited for single battery installations and the rack mount version for multiple battery systems and the use of buss bars. I have posted a review of this battery on YouTube because it is too large to post here. I will update this review if needed.

Review for cloud energy batteries. These are some excellent batteries at an extremely excellent price. We are running 4 on our off grid setup, and after figuring out the proper setup, they run perfectly. All 4 within 10% of the lowest one. To top it all off, Pinkie (cloud energys customer support on facebook) offers excellent customer service and has helped us with any issues that have arisen. Couldn’t recommended more.

We live 100% off grid. This is the second battery that we've ordered from this company. It works great. The sales team was super friendly and very helpful. The wall mounting bracket was not included with the battery, I contacted them and they fixed the problem immediately.I recommended this battery to a friend and he bought four of them. He is very happy also.
