Absolutely amazing
We live about 20 minutes outside of Houston Texas and surprisingly we canโt find a Greek or Lebanese restaurant that we like. This Shawarma seasoning is perfection. Iโm able to make my own at home thanks to finding this seasoning. Itโs the perfect blend of spices. Highly recommend. Great quality

Great spice to use for tagine cooking!
I've used Shawarma for Meat to cook osso buco (cross cut veal shank) and lambs on my tagine. It comes out great every time! Along with this spice, I found it necessary to add sea salt and ground pepper to the meat before cooking it on low heat for 1.5 hrs. The meat comes out fork-tender. Great on white or brown rice. The beauty of tagine cooking is that you can bring the dish from stovetop to the dinner table. Very simple...and delicious. The same can be said of Shawarma for Chicken. I normally don't like to buy too many spices. Shawarma for Chichen and Shawarma for Meat both have very diffrent taste. I end up using these spices quite often on my tagine. Dump all the meat, shallots, onions, olives and lemon juice into the tagine and wait for 1-1.5 hrs (scraping the bottom of the dish every now and then so it doesn't burn.) Combined with veggie (sautee or steamed) and rice and you got one hearty meal. My family was quite impressed!

Nice ethnic spice blend
I LOVE shawarma, and was very happy to find a specific spice blend so I can make it on my own. I don't have a rotisserie to make the traditional stacks of seasoned meat and onions, but will find a way to adjust it to a home oven by using thinly sliced meat in a vertical stack on a metal cooling rack and see how that works. At any rate, the flavor is good if tasting the spice on my finger counts. :)

Good combination of flavors
This is a good combination of flavors (spices). There is something missing that I can't quite figure out, but I use it a lot and love the quality and mix. I got some Zamouri Spice from the Jerusalem Cafe that I wish I could figure out what it has that this one doesn't. That is why the missing star.

midEastern Cuisine
Zamouri Spices prepares their deliciously unique spices with great care. They are absolutely delicious. A big plus are their online recipes! I have made the Moroccan Barbequed Chicken on many occasions as it is produces one of the most delicious meals I have ever eaten -- and I do not like chicken!I suggest you peruse their online recipes to determine which spices to purchase. And buy more than you expect to use, because you will find yourself cooking more and more with their declicious recipes.

Similar to garam masala spice
I've never actually had Shawarma that someone else has made, but I've been on a mid-east kick for several years now. I wanted to try this instead of using my own, just to compare. I'm very pleased with this blend and the family loves it too. It doesn't have much salt if any, so I do add that to the cooked meat. I've used it on chicken mostly but it will work on other stuff too.

Not what I expected but good.
This review is entirely biased by my experience. I fell in love with Shawarma in Boston at Boston Sharwarma (across from NEU) and was expecting that flavor. This is good, but different. However, I'm willing to bet this is one of those spice blends like "curry" where there are thousands of variations. If you don't go in expecting an exact taste like I did you'll probably quite enjoy this.
