NOT a heavy duty clip! Clip operates well, but the swivel is flimsy. I purchased this based on the description of "heavy duty" to make a lead for tracking, but I'm not confident this will hold up to that task.

So far my wolf hasn't been able to pull it apart or snag the clip on a branch so he can open it and release himself while we're on our daily walks. I believe I'll be buying a second one for my other dog

I bought this to change my dog's lead carabiner. My dog is a Belgium mal about 70lb but this product is really good.

Truly love it, the only fault is that the black paint has already started to wear away. Shame they don't make it in chrome.

I liked the way it clip's on but I used it for 3 weeks and are 100 lb dog pulled it apart. I would not recommend it for larger dogs.

I got this to use on the end of a standard dog leash, because with big hands - and nerve damage - the standard clip was hard for me to operate. This clip is easier to operate, but it's also a lot bigger than it looks in the picture. I wish there had been something it was photographed with for a size comparison. That said, it does work well, and seems to be holding up fine.

Ich sage nur: Oha!Und die Lackierung ist vom Billigsten, einmal über die Terrassenplatten geschleift und schon geht Farbe ab.Je länger ich hier schreibe, desto mehr Zweifel kommen mir an der Seriosität und der Qualität dieses Produktes.Für Haustiere mit einem Gewicht bis 10/15kg würde ich sagen okay, aber für mehr Zugkraft oder gar zur persönlichen Absicherung: no way!2 Sterne gerade so.

This is a frog clip for a dog lead but possible other uses too. I am using mine to make a paracord dog lead. They are easy to use and secure. It autoconnects to a lead collar once open and squeeze the clasp to release so very easy to use with one hand which is a big advantage when walking 2 large dogs. Once closed it is very secure even for the strongest of dogs. The swivel facility is a big advantage as it stops the lead from getting twisted. A very good heavy duty frog clip that I happily recommend.
