Koko Gochujang (Fermented Hot Pepper Paste) 3.5oz(100g) - Certified Kosher Gochujang - Premium Gluten-free 100% Korean all Natural

I've never had Gochujang before but there were Jet Li recipes I wanted to try so I came looking. I chose this brand because it was one that did NOT have added sweeteners (which the recipes I want to make already have) nor did it have wheat so I can use it when our gluten-free friends come over. I am totally satisfied with the flavor and consistency of this brand. It has just enough heat to use on a regular basis as well as in the Korean dishes. I put a little in my homemade beans to give them a little kick--mmmm. I thought the container was glass, which would also be a plus for me, but it's plastic.

Super authentic tasting! You can taste the better quality in the natural umami flavori. I hope Koko carries this again because I just tried to re-order, but they were out. Gochujang is a good fermented item to buy online because it can withstand the shipping (kimchi has a hard time because it's bulky, requires ice, and it's cheap). Hey, it's not supposed to be a super hot sauce. That's something different. I mix this sauce with oil pepper sauce to get a blend of flavors.

DELICIOUS! wish it was in a glass container though. so I won't be ordering again. if the plastic is this stained after a month in the fridge I have to wonder what's leeching out into the sauce

I love that this product does not contain gluten and it tastes great with Bibimbap and Korean stew.

Made fried rice kimchi and it was delicious! So glad there is a kosher option.

I bought this specific gochujang because it is kosher. It is tasty, for sure. But it's almost not even spicy at ALL. Not sure if it's the batch I got or if it's the brand, but I can literally eat a spoonful of it without it tasting particularly spicy.
