compatible with phones but iffy for android tablets
I've been using the device now for several days with my Samsung S7 Android Tablet, as a page-turner for my kindle app. My S7 is suspended above my bed and the remote makes it much easier to read in bed while comfortably laying on my back.It took some time to understand what the device is doing. It works, but sometimes, doesn't quite do what you might expect.I conclude that while it seems to work fine on smaller-screen Android phones, its use on a tablet is a bit problematic. The reason for this is technical. The device has five buttons. One simulates a mouse click/touch click on the screen. The other four simulate swiping left, right, up, and down on the touchscreen. The important point is that the device responds with the same length of swipe gesture regardless of the size of the screen. This means that for a larger screen in landscape mode, about half the time, the swipe isn't enough to turn a kindle page and one has to press the swipe button again. Switching to portrait mode makes it more reliable, but not 100% reliable. The reason for this -- of course -- that the fixed swipe gesture takes up more of the screen width in portrait mode.I use the controller in other, unadvertised contexts and it works well.* Swiping down when in YouTube play mode stops the video and goes to the position display.* Swiping down or up in YouTube video select mode scrolls the screen one page.In the Android root menu and the Android application selection display,* Swiping left or right pages the display left or right as one would expect. In any Android context:* long press swipe left goes to the home page.* long press swipe right locks the screen. This is convenient for me because I use it to turn the screen off when I'm done reading.Suffice it to say that while its performance leaves a lot to be desired in S7 tablet landscape mode, I'm keeping it, because in practice, in portrait mode, it's reliable enough to do most of what I want it to do.A small edit: I am well aware that the device is supposed to react with a somewhat longer swipe if one holds one of the swipe buttons a bit longer. In practice, this is very difficult to time, and a lot of the time when I try to do a "short press" rather than a click, I end up doing a "long press" instead, which doesn't do what I want.

Broke quickly
I had bought a different brand of the remote page turner. It didn’t work. So I returned it and bought this one. It’s VERY loud when it clicks. However, it works very well and was easy to pair on multiple devices. I’ve only used it a handful of times as I am 36 weeks pregnant and I’m often too tired to stay up and read at night lately.I attempted to use it last night for maybe the fifth time ever (and that’s being generous) and the back piece that holds it on your finger snapped clean off. The remote will still work. Just disappointing that it broke after so few uses.

Only Worked 2 Months
I purchased this devise to turn pages while reading through the Kindle app on my Fire HD 10 (11th gen). It did the job pretty good. I sometimes have to click several times to get the page to turn, but it did the job. BUT it suddenly stopped working after 2 months. I'm very disappointed!

I want to like this but ..
I needed a remote to flip pages on my android kindle app. I have arthritis in my thumb and thought it would give my sore hand a break. This device has raised buttons, and a long battery life so I thought it would be a good fit.On the plus side, it connects easily and the buttons are easy to click. Battery life seems really good. Its lightweight and pretty comfortable to hold.On the minus side, the page turning functionality it erratic. Sometimes it's a smooth one button press to turn the page, other times it can take up to 4 presses to get the page to turn. It doesn't matter if I'm turning left or right pages, when it gets stuck, it happens for both directions. Its not the Kindle app, I can use the remote to flip screens on the home page of my tablet and experience the same problem. The most I've had it work is ten page flips before it gets wonky. On average I get maybe 2-3 page flips before it has issues.Unfortunately, I'll probably end up sending it back. It's too frustrating to use when reading a book.

EDIT: Only lasted three months! Works on the Kindle App on my Android phone
Update: I bought this at the end of November and it died at the beginning of March. I only used it for turning pages on the Kindle app and maybe a dozen or fifteen times at that. For a while it was glitching so occasionally I'd have to click the right button two or three times to get it to work but yesterday it suddenly quit. I had just charged it up a couple days previous but I tried charging it again overnight. No dice. It connects to my phone but the indicator light just blinks at me when I try to use it. Sometimes it will work once or twice but only rarely. Up, Down, Left, Right, Middle, all the buttons are the same. After fiddling with it I've given up and ordered a different one, same style but with a charging case. We'll see if that one lasts any longer.-I bought this for a single purpose and it works great for that. I've only had it for a few minutes so I may update this review if glitches or deficiencies are discovered. The scroll up/down is configured wrong and goes way too far in every app I tried it on.It works great flipping pages forward or back on the Kindle App on my Android phone. It does NOT work in the "continuous scrolling" mode so if you like to read by scrolling the text down it'll jump six or eight lines too far each time.Samsung Galaxy S20+Android version 13Kindle version 8.69.0.100I've tried this device on a few other apps and so far it works pretty well. It's a little wonky on the camera. I had to switch the volume controls from zoom to "take picture or video" in the camera settings then I could long press the up or down button on the ring to take pictures. For video it'll switch back and forth between on and off too fast so the video will start recording then immediately stop then immediately start again then stop... and on and on as long as I hold the button. I was able to time it exactly right a couple times to get the video started but that's toooo much hassle.

Needs more consistent functionality
The media could not be loaded. I don’t know if it’s the Bluetooth, software, or just app quirkiness, but it’s difficult to get the same functions to repeat consistently.
