VEVOR Trench Drain System with Plastic Grate, 5.9x5.1-Inch HDPE Channel Drainage for Garden, Driveway - 6 Pack

Seems to be sturdy, the drain basin itself is smooth and continuous, nothing to complain about with the casting. Seems its meant for 3" to fit inside the bottom outlet but I was able to fit a 4" HDPE triple wall pipe to the outside of the bottom outlet with a little bit of trimming of the webbing, then scuffed, glued and drain taped it to the bottom of the basin. There are intervals along each section where it can be trimmed down some if needed, the end caps can either slide into the interlocking sections or be press fit into the other side. Ended up scuffing all the connection points really well and gluing with loctite PL 8x construction adhesive. Its only a mechanical bond - not chemical, SCUFF WELL! You can also mist it with a bit of water to help curing. You may be able to find specialty glues for HDPE also, but this holds it together well enough so that it doesn't shift as much when getting it positioned/concreted in. I also recommend staggering the grate if possible (both the grate and the basin pieces can be cut) so that it spans across the connection points - this helps keep things a little more rigid. A few end caps went missing in shipping but VEVOR customer support was more than happy to quickly replace them at no expense to me, just had to provide them with my amazon order number and it was a very smooth process.

These are awesome! Less than Lowe’s, same brand same ad. My hubby installed these in our back patio because we were being flooded with the recent CA rain and they’ve been a patio-saver! Couldn’t be happier, VEVOR is an awesome brand and we look for their products now. We have bought pond liners, dart boards, and so many other products by VEVOR - they are a really great quality brand that we look for now. These drains look great, do the job and the value for the money is beyond expectations.

Durable strong well made and easy to connect trench drain. Only issue was no fitting to attach pipe at end of drain. Designed to attach on side or bottom as in picture on amazon. I had to modify one of the end caps that came with these to attach drain pipe at the end of drain. Not the end of the world, but would be nice to include at least one fitting to attach drain pipe (corrugated whatever) to the end of the trench drain

I needed a trench drain and the price was too good to beat. Bought these and they sat while I waited to get started on my drain project. Ended up not needing them for the original project but still useful and the remaining can be used down the line for swapping different drains out. It comes with 6 end caps but no other adapters. I bought an NDS but it is a little small for this drain. A little sealant and glue can fix that though. Great product!

This trench drain system worked perfectly in the area where I needed it. They are of good quality and easy to install. They were exactly as described and were shipped in a timely manner. I would recommend these drains for anyone who needs to divert standing water.

They seem well made, but they don't come with any instructions on how to connect the outlet pipes or what size pipe to use. It appears that I will need to buy a special drill bit to drill the holes for the pipes? I also assume that I'll need some sort of adhesive to connect the pipes to the drains? To get this information, I'll need to go to my local hardware store and ask them to advise me on the drill bit size, the size of pipe to use and whether or not I'll need adhesive. My hope was to connect these to 4' corrugated pipe. I can't tell if it's possible to do that, with or without adapters. I've already spent hours trying to figure out what I need to install these for a tiny project in my garden. I don't recommend these for a DIY project unless the manufacturer updates the listing to include installation instructions. These could be a good product for someone who already has experience installing drainage systems. Without instructions, these are a pain for a newbie.
