Overall I am happy with the look and feel of the board but im a little disappointed that the product let itself down at the last minute. The handles and the routed juice bevel are all really rough feeling with a few splinters and not up to the standard of the top. Also there are a few tiny raised areas on the top of the board where the blocks meet. I guess my options are to either return and hope the next one is better, or to use wet and dry to sand the grooves and odd top area smooth.Update:After a few hours of TLC with some very fine wire wool and the included oil I have got a much better finish to the board. I'm not 100% on whether this is the standard experience or whether I got a bad board, either way my personal experience hasn't been the best, however I am happy with the completed product. I might refine further with some wet and dry ive just purchased.Update 2:Customer services has reached out to me an explained that this isn't the normal experience. They have resolved the situation fully for me and I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service. I have absolutely no problems recommending their products to anyone, and will definitely use them again in the future.

The product looks great, I cannot complain at the aesthetics and it's definitely well put together. That given it's like a banana. A banana that's ripening. On arrival it was slightly bowed but we bought it on the basis of the great customer service in the event that it wasn't perfect. So when it was even worse this morning we mailed their customer service and had no reply. Tonight it's warped even more and is frankly unusable. Somewhat disappointed because it really does look fabulous but it does have to be right....

Just received my board. Initially all seems well but this then i noticed a large crack all the way through. Sending this straight back unfortunately.***After I posted this, the company got hold of me directly. Apologised for the issue and sent me a free board by way of apology! Fantastic customer service and the board looks amazing. Don't hesitate. You won't regret it!

The board itself is very attractive and appears to be of a high quality. Time will tell, of course, but initial impressions are positive. The disappointment is that the promised free tin of wax was not included. I contacted Amazon, who were most unhelpful, and they kept urging me to do a “return and refund”. I didn’t want to return a perfectly good board. It may seem petty but I chose this product over others on the basis that if a company includes an aftercare product then they clearly care about quality. What a shame…Update - as soon as I posted this review the company contacted me, apologised, explained the missing wax and refunded me HALF on the cost. Very pleased with this outcome and faith in their customer service more than restored.

Having bought three of them in the strength of the positive reviews her, I can safely say that I love everything about these blocks. They’re beautiful to look at, big enough for any carving/cutting/serving eventuality and very, very solid.I bought the largest sizes but I guess this will be dictated by personal preference and size of kitchen!Not cheap but not ridiculously expensive, the only issue I have is that none of the three boards came with the beeswax polish/conditioner as advertised.I’ll be contacting Amazon about that.Otherwise , these come highly recommended.

Sorry no photo but having seen some of the damaged boards of previous buyers I was a bit sceptical.I bought the extra large board which was on offer and it arrived with packaging undamaged and what I noticed sraight away was that the blocks were more elongated than the broken ones therefore making it a lot stronger. I've since oiled and waxed it and it is absolutely beautiful and rock solid. I highly recommend the size I bought.

Got one star just so I could leave this feedback, should have been 5 black stars!Initial thoughts were what a great addition to my kitchen however after just one month my husband pointed out to me the start of what has become a wide crack along the board, a 2nd crack was found and then under closer inspection I noticed the board had started to warp!We are religiously cleaned and oiled the board as per the instructions but to no avail, to say we are bitterly disappointed is an understatement and as we have just got passed the returns date are at a loss of what to do.Sad as I love my Xmas present, we will be looking elsewhere for a new block.

The cutting board was delivered on time and packaging is very nice and protective. Upon receiving I gave it a quick wash with cutting board soap and applied cutting board oil and wax to make sure the wood was sealed and for safe measure.However, I could feel some of the edges where the different blocks are glued together when passing my hand over the board.Also, you can see some stains on both sides of the board that look and feel different to the touch than other smoother parts of its surface (see first 5 pictures).Add to that the fact that I found a small crack between 2 blocks that’s visible on both sides (see last 2 pictures).I think the board needs better sanding which I’m not equipped to do especially that it comes oiled and waxed (sanding oiled wood is time consuming and I have to worry about keeping the surface nice and level after sanding). Plus I’m not sure how to fix the crack and if it’s big enough to have food residue stuck in it and grow bacteria.In general, the board looks really nice when you look at it from a distance and feels really heavy and strong when you handle it, but unfortunately for around 140 GBP, the finishing does not reflect its qualities.

The cutting board is beautiful but the one i received is really warped. There is a good 1 cm on one side if the other side touch the table. I have to put something under to reduce the movement.Update:Exceptional customer service.I contacted the seller and they gave me advice on how to straighten the board quickly and easily. It's now perfect.But that's not all. To apologize for the inconvenience, they sent me a new board and a container of wax to maintain it. I wasn't asking for so much, but it's reassuring to see that companies still care about customer satisfaction. I will definitely use this vendor for future purchases. Thank you for your dedication.

Mooie plank, jammer genoeg in 2 gebroken geleverd.Deze moet veel beter ingepakt worden.Ik ben benieuwd naar de nieuwe levering en terugbetaling en kom hopelijk terug met een mooie beoordeling.

Plank is werkelijk waanzinnig en zeer indrukwekkend. Teak is voor een snijplank het behoud van je messen omdat het een zachtere houtsoort is. Helaas heeft onze plank enkele onvolkomenheden maar tijdens contact met de leverancier bleek al snel dat ze dat heel netjes oplossen. Even wachten op de nieuwe voorraad en dan is ie er.

The initial board we bought started to kink and now it it no longer flat… and it spins…Trying to fix the problemThe company supported us so well with the previous board. They are five star! Don’t hesitate to buy from them.

EDIT:Wow, talk about customer service! I initially rated them 2 stars, but they are now easily a 5. Their team reached out to me about my experience with their product. Within one business day, they replied asking how they could make it right. I ended up getting a replacement board that is absolutely perfect! The new board had all of the pros listed below without any of the cons. I am not sure I have met another company with customer service this good! I couldn't be happier with how this all turned out!Original Post:This cutting board is HUGE! With that being said it's exactly what I was looking for! The cutting board is very appealing to the eye, especially with the end grain cuts. This board is very sturdy and heavier than I was anticipating. They did a good job sealing the teak wood with beeswax, linseed & lemon oil, it really brings out the pattern in the wood. It draws the eye from across the room and makes an excellent serving tray.As for the negatives, the board is not level. It tilts from side to side or corner to corner when light pressure is applied to the top of the cutting board. When tilted completely to one side from pressure there is a 1/4" gap on the lifted side. Another major downfall of this cutting board is the grooves for juice and the handles. They are "prickly" to the touch, something I am sure a quick rub with sandpaper will fix. The last complaint I have about the board is that if you run your fingers across the board you can feel some slightly higher and lower pieces of the butcher block. Running the board through a planer or providing a finishing sand would take this cutting board to the next level. The ad says beeswax is included, however, this was missing from my package.
