Solder points are much too small to use for trolling motors. 14-16 Gauge wire max will fit in these. Most trolling motors have 8 gauge wire. Other than that, the unit is perfect.

Soldering all the 12 posts in such a small coupler is difficult. If you do not need one this small get a larger one.

I've bought a couple 9pin connectors from this brand, they were both well made, especially for the price they get all my praise.For my own use I'm very happy with it, and I prefer these to Amphenol's cheaper connectors.At the end of the day, I'm usually building equipment to sell, so those still go out with ITT or equivalent overkill quality connectors.Still, these are plenty good and I would recommend them to anyone that wants connectors for their DIY electronic project, no need to break the bank with this stuff.

For the price I was almost expecting there to be flash and sharp spots but the finish is amazing. There was a lot of thought put into their design and there are seals at all of the joining parts, though I have not tested it I would believe that they are water tight. The twist lock ring has a great tactile feel when locked without taking excessive force. I have bought both the 3 and 4 pin and the build quality is consistent. My only complaint is that they don’t come in more colors.

I got this connector to give some easy options for hooking up quick-connect power to a variety of accessories in my former military HMMWV. It appears to be well made. I'll update this review when I have advanced this project and put this connector to use.

These are really nice connectors. Have used in rain & snow and they absolutely keep out water. I would say 14 awg wire is the biggest you can solder to the pins.

Easy enough to solder connections and small numbers next to pin help identify each one. Easy to connect and disconnect.
