Looks/works great!
The Napier worked great on my Lexus RX 350 SUV. Setup is straight forward. Only downside to these rigs is you have to break them down to go anywhere, but they are a good option if you are not moving or have another vehicle. With a full size inflatable mattress the wife comes camping again. Same material as a tent for the most part and to me much drier in a rain if not on the ground.

. Perfect for my wagon as solo-camper!
I reported shattered and broken pole which punched a hole on the awning. It's been a great product but I’m glad warranty exist and getting a new set! Thank you Napier!Update:2022. 7 months - pole shattered on one section and another section broke during a gusty evening. I would have been okay with that as I can look for a replacement. However it tore part of the awning where the pole goes through. Now it’s concerning me whether the product will hold long. I was pleased with the build and material but I’m a bit sceptical now. I love the product tho. Dear Napier: Help. Photos attachedI purchased model 61000 its the smallest that would fit our Audi A4 Allroad. This also fits well on our 2018 Hyundai Tucson. As far as fitting- one person can set it up in about 5-7mins. it slips onto the hatch door, attached onto the roof rack (if you don’t have a roof rack- they provide extensions to hook onto front mirrors.) Additional buckles secures onto the wheelwell, but I hook it up on my rear wheels instead. At this price, it is a whole lot cheaper than a RTT. However you only have the space that your car, in this case the audi Allroad, can provide - usually good for solo campers, a pinch for two. So of course an RTT would provide a better room to sleep for two or more(?). There are minimal gaps on the side and on top where the hatch and the rear roof meets. (See last couple of photos- The gap is not that bad since the actual material extends forward where it’s hooked up to the roof rack rails). Masking tape may help provide more “seal” but its truly not bad. It was a cold night when I had a trial (and wind advisory) but it held up well and provided shield from the cold air. You cannot turn on the engine to heat up the car as the bottom part of the attachment covers the exhaust. However, it doesn’t mean modifications could not be made to allow engine running while this is on. Having said that, I have a portable stove/ heater that sits in the back if I need a little bit of warmth (also have a 200w mini electric heater i use sometimes). With this tent on, it allows me to sit up at the back end of the cargo area and have privacy from the elements. I’m only 5’10” so it works well for me. Quality I have to say is excellent, good materials , good zippers. It does have a built in bug-screen along with the solid flap to shield from the weather. I am looking forward on my next camp out (when there’s no wind advisory whipping up 60mph gusts. Lol) This would be perfect this summer!

Car Glamping!
I picked this thing up as a cheap alternative to getting a roof top tent, and WOW was I impressed with how much it opens up the space! The car just feels more open and roomy, whereas previously my Outback could feel quite claustrophobic with everything shut. The design is smart, sensible, with everything working exactly how you think it should, and the air flow is great. I don't feel insecure with this thing on, as it's really just like sleeping with a normal tent now. Setup is done within four minutes, and it definitely catches up a conversation with other car campers in the park. For something like this to work, it really needs to be designed well and, being as niche of a product as this is, I really wasn't expecting this brand to deliver what I Wanted. After using it, I really do believe the folks at Napier actually thought this through because it clearly shows in all the little touches (like where things are secured and how everything fits together).Ive already recommended it to a few other friends who are considering car camping. Absolute winner!

RVing, SUV Style
I just put this up for the first time, single handedly, with no instructions (well, there are some, but they were in French) and I am in love with this tent. The only glitch was that, it comes out of the tent bag rolled up and strapped down tightly, like a thermarest mattress. I thought these two straps were meant to unbuckle and spent several fruitless minutes trying to do so. As it turns out, they are not attached to the tent and are meant to be removed as one circular whole which can be tightened or loosened as needed.Once the tent was free, I simply fastened the two top straps to my roof rails, pulled the bottom down over the bumper and hooked each of the corner straps to a real wheel well and snugged them down tightly, then popped the hatch up.Next, I connected the shock-corded segments of the long, springy pole that supports the awning extension, ran it through the top center pocket, and anchored each end in a corner pocket. After fastening it down the sides with the attached the velcro wraps, my Sports Cove was ready to go.With this first experience under my belt, I am certain that I can now put this up and take it down in just a couple of minutes (the awning is the most time consuming part). This appears to be a well made well thought out SUV tent. The way the back door and windows zippers work in tandem is very clever, and all of the tie downs, straps and elastic parts are quite sturdy. I also like that they have the guy lines attached to the tent, in case extra security is needed. This tent fits a 2010 Subaru Outback perfectly.
