Perfect for my requirements
Wanted a large enough zip seal bag that I could fit an iceberg lettuce in once I'd got it home from the shops and removed the clingfilm it came in. These bags are an ideal size for this due to the expandable base. Only minor complaint I have is that the box they came in is rubbish quality as the minute I removed it from the paper bag it was delivered in all the freezer bags fell on the floor because the end of the box immediately split open. I picked them up and tried to refit back into the box and the other end did exactly the same. It fell apart in my hands so decanted the bags into a carrier bag. Would have been nice to have been able to store them in the box as the top had a perforated lid for easy access. I did notice another reviewer had the same problem stating that the box is not fit for purpose, I totally agree. Don't know if they are airtight as I didn't need them to be totally leak proof. That said the actual bags were perfect and delivery very quick so I would recommend

Really good quality.
Such good quality I have washed and reused them multiple times. Really handy for the freezer, have stored soup and curry in the freezer in them to save space and had no leaking.

Having bought some rather inferior quality freezer bags, that were supposed to be large, it was with trepidation I opened the box of these bags. Oh Wow, they are great, big enough to put 6 chicken breast portions in and safely seal !! They are a decent thickness and don't tear. The slide lock thingy is substantial, so doesn't fall off. can be washed out and reusable. Also recyclable in. All in all, worth investing in.
