Good quality and material for the price
Three pairs for 12 bucks is hard to beat for Hickory sticks. I purchased these for my 8 year old beginner drummer. He is nowhere experienced enough to feel the difference between these and say Vic Firth brand. All I know from doing some basic research is that hickory is one of the better choices for drum sticks. His instructor recommended size 5A and also recommended having a back-up set for those that may get lost or broken (mostly lost). So having three sets on-hand is a plus. The instructor said he likes hickory since a beginner drummer tends to hit the rims more as he's learning, which will dent softer wood more easily. As he advances, who knows, maybe he'll acquire the skill to feel the differences between brands - not that these are inferior, but I read that some drummers experiment with different brands and gain a liking to one over another due to balance, feel, rebound, etc. I was comfortable in knowing these were also liked by more experienced reviewers and that they aren't a cheesy kid set. I thought about ordering them in a color he liked, but read some reviews that mentioned colored sticks will leave marks on symbols and I didn't want to do that since the drums he uses are not his own. Overall, I think he will get a lot of use and longevity out of these. NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions, failing to read the product details prior to purchasing or someone's inexperience or lack of skill. Writing valuable reviews helps pay it forward.

Decent sticks for the price
Drumsticks have markedly increased in price over the past several years. I have used name brands and off brand sticks since the 1970's. These seem to be well made. They have a decent balance and a nice feel. They seem a little light for size. I haven't had them long so I can't attest to durability. For the price, especially being hickory, they are nice sticks.

I’ll stick with these!
Wow 3 pair for a total of $15.42! You can’t beat that with a stick. They are all straight and solid. The weight is just right. Love the beautiful natural wood grain. Very pleased. Thank you Bluefire!

Great Buy
I bought two of these 3pair packs I was alittle skeptical at first as a working drummer playing every weekend drumsticks can get very expensive so the price was an eye catcher. The weight and balance felt good to me , the durability of the sticks were amazing I used them this pass weekend at an outdoor event playing a 2hr set using just 1pair. I was amazed how well they held up to the to the hard hitting. Now the color sticks will chip and leave paint chips all over your cymbals and kit so if you’re ok with that then these are good sticks. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there was one banana stick in each of the packs which I ended up with one pair of bananas. Maybe a little more attention on quality control but otherwise wise a great buy.

Good product
the only issue I had was that one stick just broke after two hits but the rest were fine.

Fine for practicing.
They're actually fairly durable. They don't hold a candle to my Vater Fusion 5A's, but they're a bit cheaper. The black ones look cool, but be warned: they will leave marks on your cymbals, according to the color of the sticks. Probably to be expected, but worth mentioning.

Great
Definitetly worth paying a little more for this quality. I used to by the cheaper maple 12 pairs set thinking it was worth it since I had more sticks anyway, but I was breaking two or three sticks everytime I played. I practiced a few times already with these and haven't broken one yet!! Plus they do not make those little chip of wood when playing.
