Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Face Cream Moisturizer For Dry Skin with Ceramides and Panthenol | Korean Skin Care

Horrifically expensive, but this stuff is one of the best products I've ever found for my chronically-dry and peeling, flaky, sometimes-bleeding lips!The lip care routine I've recently found to be my Holy Grail is:1) exfoliate with "Cure Natural Aqua Gel" (Japanese) using my fingertips2) pour a little bit of "The Label by BLANC DOUX Oligo Hyaluronic Acid Deep Toner" into my palm and apply with fingertips3) once absorbed, apply a rice grain-sized amount of"Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Moisturizing Cream"If I'm doing this before bed, I'll also add:4) apply a pea-sized amount of "Lanolips The Original 101 Ointment" on top to seal in moisture overnight!This has been a highly-effective treatment for me. If this Dr. Jart Ceramidin cream weren't so damn expensive, I'd use it on my face and hands, too! But it's eye-wateringly pricey, so I just use it on my lips. Which means that the TIIINY 5ml sample size I received from Sephora (a VERY long time ago!) lasted me a surprisingly long time, so I presume this *still very small* (especially for $15-$20!) 0.5oz (15ml) tube will last me a year, if I only use it on my lips, multiple times a day (at least 2x, but sometimes more than 3x).Oh, for more information:• it's unscented• it's VERY hydrating• while it starts off like a cream, as you apply it, it melts into a greasy texture -- so if you have oily skin and want to apply it to your face, you may only want to use it at night• because of the above greasiness, I would not call it "lightweight"• it's not sticky (are any creams "sticky"??)• it lasts a very long time! I'm not talking about "the bottle lasts x months with x uses per day", I'm talking about the actual product quality vs. expiration date. Like I mentioned above, I had a VERY old sample of this product from Sephora, that I'd opened years ago. I'm talking at least 5 years, probably closer to 7-8 years. I tried it, didn't like it much, and then forgot about it. Well, the sample resurfaced a few months ago while packing for a move, and when I tried it on my lips I realized its brilliance. Anyway, this is all to say that even an opened tube will stay good for many, many years!!! And the tube design is hygienic, so aside from the air going in to occupy the empty space, there is a minimal amount of bacteria and pathogens entering the tube. (I do prefer vacuum containers for this reason though, as air can still carry plenty of microbial nasties.)If you're on the fence, I highly recommend waiting for a sale and buying the smallest size. Depending on your use case, it could very well last you years!

I started using Dr. Jart's Cerimidin cream years ago for extremely dry hands. It was the first miracle cure I ever found that could really help heal quickly. I started using it for both hands and face and it was wonderful!A while back, it became unavailable so I switched to others and never quite found an alternative that I liked.I saw that it was back, but lots of reviewers mentioned it wasn't the same. I was hesitant to reorder, but I am so glad I finally did.I will say, the formulation does seem *slightly* different than it was, but not by a lot. I think I use more of it for each application than I used to, but overall it is great.This cream is so healing and soothing! It keeps my face hydrated and healthy, and my sensitive skin loves it. It also heals my hands when they get dry and cracked. It is wonderful!

My sensitive skin love this face moisturizer. It calms redness and makes my skin plum and juicy without making it feel grease. I will continue investing on it. I apply this moisturizer at night before and after Retin A 0.1% and it makes it tolerable to use every day of the week.
