Wow” love, love it! Over time I’ve gone through different fazes of camping fishing hiking travels and jobsite construction. Fixed clip-ons pocket folders rear pocket lock back. Serval knives I choose from for work and play and all other occasions. But this one is pretty awesome , serval mounting option on the belt available without any aftermarket purchases to get the options I’m needing ! It’s all there in one package😁As soon as it arrived this evening I opened her up and strapped it the belt and this has Great retention so until I use it more it will be easier to retrieve ( love it regardless ) . It’s small and mighty perfect hold for what it is intended for rip cuts of that nature but the comfort of wearing this is just what I’ve been looking for 🥲 I will have anther ordered. This is not a payed or compensation of any kind just a full hearted review 👍🏼even though I haven’t had more than 6 hrs I’ve done serval things around the house washed my truck and around the yard 90% of this time I forgot it was there OHYAH !! It works good for the kine part, but the sheth doesn’t stay on well.

Part of the wonderful job I have requires me shipping parts out for repair and receiving them back. It is very satisfying to have this hand tool for opening packages safely where using it correctly. Much better than a long blade knife or a slippery utility razor blade knife . I like the design of its options and its durability. The quality of the blade and how well it fits in my had. Also not any weight in my hand to struggle with when I’m using a sharp blade. This gets my my stamp of approval.👍

One of the main selling points of this product is that it comes with a safe sheath for concealed carry. Well, after receiving mine, I attempted to ‘sheathe’ the blade….if you can even call it that. The sheath barely holds the blade in place; a light shake is all it takes to send it flying. There is absolutely no way I’d ever trust this in any professional setting, whether law enforcement or trade work.Honestly, I could’ve saved my money and picked up a cheap utility knife from Home Depot it’d be just as reliable and at least I wouldn’t be constantly worried about losing a finger tip . Disappointing product. Spend your money on something you can actually trust. This ain’t it.

Andrew Takach makes excellent blades. I own a couple of his knives.He designed this Mycro knife.My 2 star rating is NOT due to the design of this knife. It is the direct result of the quality of the blade I received, and the POOR customer service I experienced from ACGBrands (the seller/maker of this knife).As received, my knife blade had a nice even grind, a mediocre (NOT excellent) edge, and some dull spots along the edge. Not what I'd expect from a new knife.What concerned me was the major difference in appearance between the scales on either side of the knife. One side was dull grey, and the other side was the expected black color. The grey side feels like it was rougher than the black side.Sooooo..... I contacted ACGBrands. I submitted my concern via their website, including the 2 pictures I included in this Amazon review.Their response was "Please reply to this email with a picture of your Mycro knife so that I can forward it to our developers."I had already sent them pictures with my original message, but I went ahead & resent them the pictures.Their reply the next day was "I reached out to our engineers and they said that the handle can dry out, but rubbing some Mineral Oil on the handle will help bring back its shine."Ummm.....yeah.A customer buying a BRAND NEW knife should rub mineral oil on ONE side of the knife scales to "bring back its shine."Of course.I can only hope that future buyers of this knife will receive a knife with matching scales, not one with one side grey & one side black.Poor quality control, even POORER customer service from the manufacturer/seller.

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!!!This is a great knife.Before you try to carry. You need to wear in the holster and play with it. I recommend about 100 pulls but love this knife.

The sheath has no retention, blade is full handle and sharp.,needs sheath with click retention. I would like another sheath for it .
