Works Well But You Need To Clean Up Afterward
These do the intended job but it is important that you thoroughly clean the residual dust from the inside of the grinder. I use a stiff brush to clean the burrs and channels and have recently taken to using the air compressor in my shop to blow it out of every nook. This method is probably overkill but I do have the compressor and I am lazy...

Think it works
I’m not totally sold on this product. It works as it says (dust remaining afterwards, etc.), but still seems to have considerable amount of bean pieces in the burrs. I find I need to brush them out in order to get rid of them. Maybe this is all it’s supposed to do (i.e., clean out the residual oils in the burr). I’ll continue to use it, but not sure I’ll purchase again.

Grindz by any other name still cleans as well
This is the economy-size package of Grindz (although it is called a different name, it is made by the same company that makes Grindz). It's the easiest way to clean a grinder, and works very well, especially with oily beans - those can drive you nuts when trying to clean the burrs with a brush. Just dump in a cap of the cleaning beans, run the grinder and the burrs are like new again. The only negative is that, although the price per use for the large container is better than the individual packets, it still is pricy. This container is 430 grams, and the single packets are 35 grams, so this has enough for about 12 cleaning runs.

I mean what else are you going to use
So Amazon is asking me to rate the flavor of this which is a bit odd. Do not eat this product! Can’t stress that enough. For it’s intended purpose though, this is great. Beats the hell out of dis/reassembly of everything. Unless you’re an aficionado in which case you’ve probably got better equipment than I do.

Call me the last to know.
I have 2 burr grinders, a Krups (13 years) and a Gaggia (10 years); neither had ever been cleaned. One day the Krups stopped grinding, and I was ready to trash it until I read somewhere that you should clean these things on a regular basis. I went to Amazon, and based on the reviews I tried this product. Voila! After a single cleaning, both machines are working as new. These pellets are ridiculously easy to use, and I won't be without them again.

Very effective grinder cleaner!
Cleans our coffee grinder perfectly. We use oily french roast and a capful does the job every month. Gets to where brushes "won't go"

Works fantastic - but like any similar product seal it in an airtight container
This stuff works fantastic just like the other reviewers said. However if you just use it occasionally and keep a container around awhile, I suggest you seal it inside something airtight like a gallon double-zipper ziplock (not the slider kind). It absorbed moisture from the air during the humid summer and turned into one damp glob and had to go into the trash. As much as this stuff costs, it's worth investing in the double zipper gallon bag.

Works great! Just as good as other brands...
I was a little skeptical because this is not the exact same version of this product as sold by 1stline, but I tried it out anyway. It did a fantastic job on my LeLit pl53 grinder, and it works significantly better now. Oily beans can really do a number on your high-end grinder, and having a cleaner like this around is a must!

Does the job quickly and well
I bought this grinder cleaner after reading that using raw instant rice kernels wasn't a good idea after all.Not terribly expensive, this stuff does a great job of quickly clearing all the accumulated grind out of the grinder's burrs and channels.I followed the cleaning grind with 15 grams of some cheap no-name coffee beans to get rid of any cleaner residue, as recommended.I did find that that this cleaner leaves a tiny residue in the corners of the grounds bin but a hot water and detergent wash gets rid of that simply enough. It's also flavourless and food safe so if any residue managed to get into my good coffee grind it wouldn't matter anyway.I'm keeping a bottle of this in my supplies cupboard from now on for future cleaning cycles.

Not for automatic espresso machines
Used this product on my automatic espresso machine with built in grinder and it completely messed it up. It blocked the infuser. Which in turn messed up the pump.DO NOT USE IN AUTOMATIC ESPRESSO MACHINES!
