Does it come with the usb cord that will connect the ps4 to the hard drive?

Yes - I have purchased 2 of these for myself and my son and both came with the cords to connect drive to the PS4. Great drives. The drive can also be removed from the enclosure and can be used as a SATA III internal HDD as well incase anyone was wondering.

Why are people commenting on face masks when the item is about bug zappers???

Let’s see, I never ordered this bug zapper. I just ordered some new face masks though. I’m assuming there is a glitch on the website. Glitch in the Matrix! lol

Is this compatible with ps5?

These answers fail to mention a vital point: PS5 games cannot be played from the external drive. They can be saved, but need to be downloaded to the PS5 Console to allow you to play. PS4 games absolutely can be saved and played from the external drive & with a patch from 2022 you can format for PS5 Consoles to store games from either generation (PS4 & 5). Again, PS5 games are saved here simply to allow quicker download onto your console if let's say, like me, your internet is very slow...you avoid 7 hours to download a 35gb game, but you cannot play PS5 games from any external drive. Install an internal drive if that's what you want.

To answer your question, no, this is not a solution to your issue, and I'll tell you why. The limiting factor here is the connection. While yes, it is super-fast (compared to older USB standards) it is nowhere near fast enough to compete with the BUS on your motherboard. So that external connection is not going to be able to compete with an SSD that's internally mounted on your motherboard. So, I wouldn't recommend playing games on either storage device in this external dock. If you want SSD performance then I would recommend installing it internally on your laptop, it's not that difficult. As an aside, while the previous response was extremely rude & unhelpful, he is correct that there is not and SSD requirement on any game I've seen. Games perform better on Solid State storage devices, absolutely, but the only requirement I've ever seen is the amount of space they require for installation.

Pretty cool graphic on drive

I really didn't need an external hard drive, but got this because of the cool Ghost-Spider graphic. The RGB lighting is pretty nice and is configurable with a utility you need to download and install on the PC the drive is connected to. The drive comes with the cable and a couple sheets of spider decals. It functions fine and seems to have decent read and write speeds.

Amazing HDD

Needed an external HDD for work, school and gaming. Saw they had a Spider-Man drive so being a huge Marvel fan (Spider-Man is my favorite hero) I had to pick it up. Works great so far and I get a lot of compliments 😎

It's light it's a beautiful drive colors the white the blue back with the spider on it and the pink lighting ring around it it's fast compact oh no wonderful drive but my one complaint is art design for ghost spider it's not the spider-verse Gwen neither is it her from Marvel's rising they messed up on the art design

3 months & it's garbage

Stopped working at 3 months. Don't waste your money. And support is bot only. No phone support. Might get an email every 3 days. Lost 900 documents to encryption and 150 of those were for a lawsuit. And zero service even under warranty
