This is such an Amazing set for those people who do their own nails or want a way to repair a nail without a trip to the salon. Everything you need is in this box. YOU STILL NEED A UV/LED LAMP! -The polymer is a gel that you squeeze into a fake nail or form - Take the fake nail, squeeze some polymer inside of it. Place the fake nail/ form with the polymer in it and press it onto your nail tightly. - Clean any polymer that oozes out of the fake nail/ form - Take the plastic clamp/ clip and place it on your nail to hold the fake nail/ form down tightly against your nail -Place your nail under the lamp to set/ cure for about 30 seconds - Remove the fake nail/ form from your nail by gently pulling it off of your nail - You should have a hardened gel nail on your nail which is the cured polymer - Use the gel builder to build and thicken the cured polymer to your liking - File and paint your nails your favorite color.

I just fell in love with this product. Took some time to arrive but when it finally did, I just couldn't wait. I have never done my nails before, nor in a salon or by my self, so I was a little skeptic when I read in the reviews that it was difficult and that it took a lot of time. But far from it!!! Having no experience at all, I began doing my daughter nails. The first hand wasn't perfect but ended up pretty good. For the second hand, I already got the hang of it and the mistakes I did to the first hand where easily corrected. The second hand ended up really cute. Then I decided to do mine. Something simple but elegant and summery. They were just perfect, no issues at all. The only thing is that the colors are like two shades lighter than what the look like on the tube. This kit has everything you need to begin your art. Cute stickers, accesories, rinestones, ect... I had to watch a couple of You Tube videos to learn how everything is done and how each tool is used, but after that, it was just being creative. I am telling you, never have done this before and I just love it!!! With this kit, I also bought the drill and UV gloves. The drill is a must! It helps you give to your nails that perfect look. If you are looking for something to do your nails that has everything you need and easy to use, this is the kit. With every new thing, there is a learning curve, but by the fourth hand, I felt already like an expert!!

I just got this kit today. I've never used polygel. I also don't do or know how to do much with polish. But I was pleasantly surprised on how easy this kit was to use. It had everything to get started. Im an older woman and I watched videos before ordering this kit. Worth every penny. It took me about 1.5 hours. Found polygel easy and fun to use. Im not super patient so my nails aren't perfect, but look very good to me. I really didn't need nail drill but have one on hand. Gel goes on smooth. Watcch how to videos 1st and follow kit instructions. I might polish next time.

Takes some practice for sure, but doable. Not as tough/hard as acrylic so if you use your nails a lot they may break easier. Otherwise they are easy to file into any shape. Would by again.

I love Love this it’s so simple and easy to use. It last a long time keeps nails safe. They hold up really well. Out of all the nail products I’ve purchased I like this one the most. It takes about 20mins.

Works well. Takes a while getting used to and knowing how to use it. If you can use it well then great alternative for acrylics

First time EVER doing anything like this. It was fairly easy but took some getting used to. I wanted a natural look. The first time I got it way too thick. It came out terrible. Second try was a lot better since I knew what to expect. Directions say to use a paper towel to use less slip liquid (whatever it is called) but I found it worked better with just pressing against the wall of the glass a couple of times and NOT wiping on a paper towel. Remember to thin out nail on the backside BEFORE curing so it isn’t a blob. I found pressing nail onto nail bed above cuticle and then pushing downward toward the cuticle helps to prevent the gel from gushing out at bottom. I did one nail at a time and it took me about two hours. I had to redo two nails. Wasn’t bad! Will add to review after a week of wear to see how well they hold up! 1 Week update: Already took them off. They were lifting and my hair would get stuck under them. I ended up breaking two nails already (and mine were not even that long). Even the nails that I did a fairly good job applying were starting to lift at the cuticle. I don't know if it was the pressure of the tip of the nail or what. I do like to tap my nails quite a bit. Overall they were a nice pretty nail but just not super durable. At least to me. Def a cheap alternative to the nail salon, just not as sturdy as like acrylics.

Highly recommend- however don’t use the slip solution. Replace the slip solution with isopropyl alcohol 90%. Allows for a much better application in the cuticle area. Learned this technique while getting my nails done at a salon.
