Awesome product
Clicks so many more times per rotation compared to my old socket wrench. Was a bit pricey but worth every penny.

Very stiff mechanism
I recently purchased a set of these, one of each drive size. I have been using craftsman hand tools my whole life, and was always very happy with them. I decided I wanted to replace my old 35 tooth ratchets with 72 count gear teeth, and because I am older now with arthritis in my hands, I thought the large handles on these would be easier to hold and work with. I really like the handles, they are easy to hold on to and don't hurt my hands when dealing with tight or rusty bolts or nuts. The problem is that the gear mechanism is so tight once you break the bolt or nut loose and trying to remove or insert it, the tight gear just moves the nut or bolt back and forth, not moving g it in or out. I never thought I would see the day when Craftsman would produce such a worthless tool. And to top it off you can't take then apart or even open them up to lubricat them and get them loosened up so they function properly. And all three sizes are like that. Shame on you Craftsman. If you want my advice, don't buy them. This is not the fault of the seller. It's a production problem.

It's a pro tool - has to be broken in
The backdrag like a previous reviewer said is high. So, once you break a nut loose the ratcheting mechanism has enough friction that you have to pull it the rest of the way by hand. BUT, in my experience, it stopped right at the point you get it finger tight anyway, so I'd have done it ANYWAY.After really running these through their paces though they wear in. They're incredibly strong. Pro tool level strong. Get the normal Craftsman 72 tooth ratchets if you want easy. These take a lot of use to get to that really smooth good feeling.
