The Atlas of World War II

Great reference. Instead of small maps of entirety of France you get large scale, very well done maps of individual battles with commentary about the battle, such as D-Day, etc. Only problem is a minor matter of the treatment of the Hurtgen Forrest, a common omission because of the Battle of the Bulge. Excellent for students.

Very well written and factual atlas of the WWII war in Europe. It helped us plan what to see as we travelled by car around Normandy and Brittany

These maps are large and well detailed. I have been able to follow the WWII battles, advancements, etc., using these maps. Which is exactly what I wanted to do. Glad I bought it. I recommend this book .
