I have color treated, fine hair, so I don't wash my hair everyday. On the days I don't wash, I have to use dry shampoo or it looks yucky and unwashed. When I tried Amika Perk Up Plus, I was hooked! It works like none of the other dry shampoos I have tried. It is light and powerful. It smells incredible. I spray at my roots, rub slightly with my fingers, then brush it out. Instantly, it takes away any greasy texture. It gives me volume that lasts all day. I've used it several days in a row and it does not leave any buildup. I have auburn colored hair and it also does not leave any visible residue or white color. I also love the fact that it gives my hair SHINE! The other dry shampoos would dull my color and leave a matte finish, but Amika leaves it glossy with no residue. I was hesitant at first to pay $30 for a can of dry shampoo, but it lasts me about 3 months for one 5.3 ounce can. In addition, when I finally shampoo my hair, it rinses out cleanly and completely. I will only use this from now on!

Best dry shampoo ever! I have extremely oily hair and have always struggled finding a dry shampoo that works for me. This dry shampoo works great and smells so good! I also really like how it doesn't leave a chalky residue or white spots in my hair. I would absolutely recommend this dry shampoo and will be buying again!

I absolutely love this! I had originally used the regular AmicaPerk up but now that I have found this, I won’t go back. I am over 60, but my hair still gets greasy very quickly. This product does not leave a bunch of white dust in your hair like I thought the original did sometimes it also miraculously makes the hair look washed, which is wonderful if you have to run out in the morning and don’t have time to hop in the shower or if you are disabled like me and have difficulty washing your hair every day. This is a great perk up on the days I skip my hair.

This is a very nice dry shampoo - doesn't leave chalky residue, doesn't leave white spots and smells good. But the price - yikes. Personally I don't think it's worth it. I've been using dry shampoo for years, and a few other professional ones I use aren't as expensive. I think I'll stick with them.

I love this but prefer their perk up one instead. I don’t usually go 5 days of not washing and that’s what it recommends so maybe it works better for those who go that long. I don’t go longer than 4 days and feel the perk up does an amazing job for those days! But it smells amazing like all the Amika products I’ve used so you can’t go wrong!

I have tried MANY of dry shampoos and this is the only one that seems to work - my hair is more oily than dry. And for girlies with extensions - this is safe to use with them!

First of all let me say I have brown, very long, fine thin hair that is super greasy the next day after washing. I still only wash my hair twice a week at the most. Sometimes I can go 5 days before I wash my hair. Usually dry shampoo sprays do not work for me. What usually works for me is another expensive brand that is an actual powder, but it leaves a white cast. I expected great results from this dry shampoo based off reviews and the fact it says it's meant for day 4-5 hair. At the very least it should significantly help my 2nd day hair. It does help my 2nd to 3rd day hair but I have to use lots of it! I bought the larger size bottle and have used it maybe 8-10 times and it's already getting low. I'm normally not bothered by scents in hair products but the smell is very strong and has given me headaches since I have to use so much. The smell isn't bad just strong. Compared to the brand I normally use, this dry shampoo doesn't leave a white cast so I do love that. I would say this product works, but I'm not sure I'll repurchase it since it is so expensive and it takes a large amount of the product to actually see results. Maybe I just expected too much from this product. But I think saying it's for 4-5 day hair is pushing it.

The Amika Perk Up Plus dry shampoo has a very strong floral perfume which, for me, is too much. I also haven't found the performance of the dry shampoo to be particularly effective, needing to spray quite a lot on before it feels 'dry' and that's when my hair wasn't even dirty - I just wanted to freshen up my hair, to give it a bit more volume and lift. So, having to spray a lot on to get some kind of result, together with the overly strong perfume, I'm disappointed. It is an expensive product. I won't be buying it again.
