Ten months of daily wear before needing a simple repair
Other reviewers gave me good insight into how to keep the alert in great shape for a long time. First, I placed it on the inside of my wristband so it doesn’t get banged up. This has kept the engraving in great shape. Second, I new the rubbery band would eventually break but I found the solution was already provided by another reviewer. So, this morning, when it finally broke, I grabbed a couple of common tools and a hair tie and got to work. It only took a few minutes to make a simple repair. See the results in the photo. I expect to be wearing it for quite a long time.

I have used this on my watch for 6 months now. It is very sturdy and does not chafe at all. I was worried that it would rub on my arm but it does not and is very comfortable. I am happy to know that it is easily viewable if I am ever in a medical emergency it will be seen

Money well spent!
I’ve worn a med alert necklace for a few years now but needed something different. I had been looking for an actual bracelet but when I found this I thought it was the best option for me. I change out me watch band often to match my outfit or for a particular holiday. I can slip this onto any of my watch bands and it’s still very visible to medical personnel! The writing is very legible and it seems very durable! I’m glad I found it!

Slip-on Med Alert for Watch Band
This item arrived yesterday, and my husband loves it. It fits onto his watch band. It is rubber, so he is hopeful it will not wear out too soon; however, he will buy another if it does. The tag's plate is metal and nicely engraved to my husband's specs. His previous tag was simply a pre-printed one that said, "Diabetic." This tag is engraved specifically for him with not only the word "Diabetic," but it indicates Type II, as well as the medication that he uses. As a result, it should prove more helpful to him health-wise if he has to be taken to an E.R. We highly recommend this med alert band.

Great item
I've tried a couple of I'd bracelets. Didn't really like them. Putting this on my watch band is genius. Now I always know I have it on. Very sturdy, but I don't even feel like I'm wearing it! Definitely a must have for anyone with a medical condition!
