KID K'NEX - Budding Builders Set ‚ 100 Pieces, Preschool STEM Building, Kid Construction Set, Creative Play ‚ Ages 3+

I love the product. I 1st purchased a set over 25 yrs ago for my nephew and they didn't have sets for little kids, so I am thrilled they came out with 1 for smaller kids. Great learning tool to teach, how to build things and use your imagination to create different things.

This is the second set of Kid K'NEX I've purchased. I bought the first smaller set last Christmas for my son when he was almost 3 years old. All year long he had continued to play with them, so I bought this set this Christmas because I liked the fact that it came with the storage tote. Now, at almost 4, he still loves to play K'NEX. I can say, they are made really well. The sticks have a slight bendable quality to them so you dont have to worry about kids poking their eye out. Easy to connect pieces together. Can build animals, machines, vehicles. Anything using their imagination. It's fun to play along with kids but my son is totally happy playing on his own with this toy. I would definitely consider buying this as a gift in the future.

Easy and fun to build !

I purchased this toy after looking for a good shareable building toy for my almost 7 year old and 3 year old twins. They all love it so much. My 7 year old likes to follow the instructions and build the ideas in the pamphlet, but my 3 year olds like to just wing it and make up their own creations seeing as they're too little to follow instructions. My only complaint would be that it's a bit pricey, and my boys tend to fight over the pieces. I am definitely going to have to purchase another set if I want them to play more peacefully together. So we're looking at about $80 in Kid K'Nex...yikes. That being said, it's still a great toy, and I'm glad I purchased it to begin with.

Bought these for my grandson a couple of years ago & he still plays with it. Lots of figures to build & works with regular Kinex.

Great Building Kit For Toddlers/Children. I wasn't too sure how my 3yo daughter would do with this but she loves it. The connector pieces are large and rubber which makes it easy for children to hold and connect. Likewise, the rods are plastic and large and also easy to manipulate. The 50 charactesr are easy to build and its a great way of getting your child involved. I sit with my daughter and have her pick out a character to build and ask her what color pieces she thinks we need and have her pick them from the bin/tub. I then show her how to put some together and ask her to mimic what I've done. It's a great learning and play tool and my daughter loves it. She also enjoys just sticking the pieces together and seeing what she can create.

My daughter received these for Christmas. She was very upset when a part was missing. I contacted the company about the missing part. Yesterday she recevied the part in the mail. She was delighted. On another note, she is handicapped and has a difficult time manipulating many building block toys. These have been great for her because they are easy to put together and to take apart. They also lots of ideas and patterns for her to follow.

I never knew they had K'Nex for little kids until last week when I had to look for it as a gift. One of the angel tree children I got asked for K'Nex and he is 4. I thought to myself, there's no way a 4 year old can play with K'Nex, my memory of K'Nex was building intricate sets with my dad when I was a teenager. But I get on Amazon, look it up, and sure enough there's several sets for this age range!I love that this set comes with 100 pieces and there's the ability to make multiple items. It's definitely something that can grow with a child and they won't get bored with it after building one thing. I think it's very cost effective as well.Since I got it as a gift, I wasn't able to actually play with it, but this is definitely something I'll be looking into when my daughter comes into that age range, probably more so for me than for her. :-) Great gift for a young child to allow them to tinker and solve problems.
