This dehumidifier is amazing! I got it after my basement flooded, and I couldn't be happier with how well it works. I’m pretty sure it saved me a ton of money on mold removal. It started working right away and dropped the humidity levels fast. Plus, it’s super easy to use.Honestly, this is one of the best dehumidifiers I’ve had! It runs so quietly too. It's made a big difference in keeping my basement dry and comfy.I also have to say that the customer service is top-notch. They were really helpful and quick to respond when I had a question.I definitely recommend this dehumidifier if you're dealing with too much moisture. It’s efficient, easy to use, and backed by great support.

I bought this dehumidifier this past spring as I had just moved in to my new place and was so stressed to find it being very damp. I could feel the moisture on my bedding and overall in the air. I searched and researched hundreds of dehumidifiers and came across this one. It works wonders! You set it to your comfort level, mine is set at 55%. It ran for several days which made me a little concerned as I wondered if the auto shut off worked. Well eventually it reduced the moisture incredibly well, and eventually the humidity level shut off to the level I set it. There was no more musty odor and my hair was no longer frizzy! It is so easy to set up and it looks sleek and modern. I’m sure it will last for a long time. Fabulous unit and extremely quiet. I hope this review helps!

It's a nice dehumidifier. Comparatively more quiet, more efficient and cheaper than many others. Only downside is such a small tank capacity.In my situation I needed to put it into a store room that had no drain. So placed it on a table* and led the drain tube into a 5-gallon bucket. But I also made an automatic shutoff (shuts power off at the electrical outlet to the unit, OR you could also wire it into the unit itself) using a float sensor, low voltage relay switch, low voltage power supply and small power strip.All inexpensive parts, and you can assemble your own shut -off if you don't empty your bucket when it's full (you can use any size bucket you want). I mounted my float switch in a 14-inch x 1 inch wide x 1/8 inch thick piece of aluminum stock (hole drilled in, can use wood) so I can very easily just remove it (it lays across top of bucket) it and put aside across a smaller container/bucket as I empty the bigger bucket. (You can also use the bucket lid or attach it some other way if you want.)I consulted Grok for parts list, instructions and wiring diagram. I don't have any specialized skills.So now I can use a small quiet cheaper dehumidifier in a place where there's no drain. And not have to lead long hoses, use a separate condensate pump, or drill holes in walls to reach the next room, etc.We shall see how the Waykar works out but so all is well. Even without the float sensor gizmo, the 5-gallon bucket idea is one that anyone can use immediately. Just see how long it takes to empty a certain amount of moisture from the air in the room and easily calculate how long you have until your chosen bucket reaches full (which I did the first week).Either way it works well.* PS: I removed the 4 caster wheels. Also, I plan to move the dehumidifier to a slightly different position on a bit lower platform to free up the table and perhaps gain a few percent "humidity sucking at a slightly lower altitude" but that's neither here nor there. Main thing is that you can set up with a bucket right away, and come back if desired with the rest of the plan later.

I've only had this dehumidifier for a day and I absolutely love it!! Its a small unit, but powerful!! I live in a 1,100 square foot apartment in MN, that's a lower level unit and has humidity the same as a basement. When I plugged it in the humidity level was at 76, and in about 12 hours it has lowered the humidity in my whole apartment down to 54. I have had to empty the container several times as I don't have the constant drain hose setup. And that would be the only downside to this unit- a small water collection container..... oh, and the cost is a little on the higher side!!.... but other than that, this dehumidifier has done its job and then some in a matter of hours!! I would definitely recommend to whoever is in need of a good quality dehumidifier!!.... one more thing I should probably comment on is that it is not the quietest, at least with the fan on high like I have it. But if you dont mind the sound of a fan in the background, you have nothing to complain about!.... Hopefully this unit will last several years to come!!
