Easy to install & works perfectly in the water trough. It came quickly, too, which was a plus!

Low flow area
I bought this to replace a 3/4" valve, thinking it would increase flow into my tank. This valve actually flows less water than the 3/4" valve does so I took it back out. The actual flow area is about 1/4" dia hole. see the picture. The stopper is conical and even at full open this cone is partially restricting the flow.

DON'T BUY THIS!! The Ball leaks and fills with water
I have only had this for a couple months and the ball started leaking and filled with water and no longer actuated the valve resulting in water running continuously and a huge water bill!
